Too pricy and you have to pay extra for rice!

I didn’t discovered any other Indian restaurant where the rice was not included in the dish and here you have to pay 3,50 for unseasoned plain rice!
That’s ridiculous!

Overpriced and not worth it

This Indian restaurant is strategically located next to the Cathedral Square, the interior is nice (although I don’t find it true to Indian culture) and they have both vegetarian and vegan options.

The main dishes are NOT served with rice.

I tried the Chana Palak Masala (chickpea spinach curry) and the Tandoori Roti (whole wheat bread) - extremely overpriced, given how cheap the main ingredients are.

Staff was unpleasant. One waiter would come and check on us multiple times during our meal and act a bit weird + when we asked something to another waiter she replied cold and fast, was quite rude.

Would definitely not recommend this place.

OK-ish food, Very expensive

The restaurant is beautiful, but the food is very expensive! You pay for the location and the decor, not the food. The quantities are not sufficient and you are also charged for a glass of water.

Bland

Several vegan options, which is great, however, my food was unenjoyably bland. Not enough flavor from spices and very low on salt and fat, which probably makes it healthier, but doesn't really taste good. Very pricey for what you get. Mains do not come with rice—it needs to be ordered separately.

Pros: Several vegan options

Cons: Bland/not flavorful, Pricey

Good for vegetarians

I can't speak for the vegan options, but as a vegetarian this place had masses of choices - two or three pages of vegetarian curries, sides and sundries.

Prices are on the high side for Vilnius, but curry places are probably few and far between and this is right in the middle of the Old Town. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are very attentive too.

We had a vegetable Jalfrezi and vegetable Madras, both of which were medium - spicy (but we're used to really hot curries so it's very subjective!). I've eaten a lot of curries over the years and this was up with the best taste wise, but I wanted more if it as the portions were a bit small (I love eating hehe)

Huge menu but only 2 vegan dishes

Only two vegan dishes, but they can make one. Food is spicy (I like it). Vegan food is overpriced for what you'll get.
I liked this place whan I was vegetarian, but now i don't...

Ok..

I guess there are not many indian restaurants to choose from in Vilnius.. and if you do bare in mind that Sue's biggest advantage is location. Food comes in pretty small portions, prices are relitively high, desert GULAB JAMUN was a disappointment, but ice cream in orange- 5/5. I don't write bad reviews often and will update after my next visit as a vegan.

Pros: location, ice cream

Cons: small portions, price

Vegetarian friendly, but zero vegan options

This Indian food place is maybe vegetarian-friendly, but being vegan, unfortunately, I had no options there to eat. They use quite a lot of diary products: butter, ghee, pannier cheese. And alas, but most of dishes - chicken.
I would definitely rate this restaurant better than 2 happy cows, but needs improvement if we expect it to become at least little bit vegan-friendly.

Ok Indian food, perfect location

The chef told there were two dishes on the menu that could be made vegan. We chose yellow lentil dal. The dishes were seasoned well, but were not that spicy. The layout of the dishes was nothing special although the surroundings are kind of upper class and the location is perfect. Tidy and clean, but not authentic. The kitchen staff is Indian though. Service was excellent. Prices are higher than average (in Vilnius).

Pros: Location, Service

Cons: Only few vegan dishes, Taste and structure of food

Sue's Indain Raja

There are not many vegan options, but there a few things to chose from. The head chef Rakesh was very helpful and ensured me there was vegan options. He was very friendly.
