Tasty Breakfast Spot with Couple Vegan Options - Edit
Cute place that was quick to order and had a nice little outdoor seating area. Wish they had more vegan options, but the Vegan Sink was delicious. The potatoes were extra crispy and the succotash was a nice change of pace from a regular tofu scramble. Looks like they had a vegan stack of pancakes available as well.

Quaint Restaurant with Vegan Options 🌱 - Edit
Little corner restaurant that was very accommodating to vegan requests. Good customer service, and a great feel of Kansas City brunch foods. 💕🐮🌱

It has potential, but failed to impress. - Edit
I really wanted to like this, especially after waiting in line for 30 minutes to order. I got the vegan sink which was lima bean hummus scrambled with succotash, peppers, onions, spinach & mushrooms, served on home fries, topped with tomatoes. I have to admit that the toppings were pretty tasty, but what ruined it for me was the overcooked (hard as a rock) potatoes hidden underneath. It really made for an unpleasant eating experience.

Very good breakfast food for vegan and non vegans - Edit
It was not busy this Saturday. I ordered the modern Elvis and an oat milk red velvet latte. The latte was so good and not overly sweet, that made me really happy. The modern Elvis was not so sweet, perfect with maple syrup. I couldn't finish it. And the kids were very happy with the giant pancakes and my husband ordered a breakfast sandwich, he liked it but not as good as he liked.

Great breakfast spot - Edit
I got the vegan short stack with potatoes and fruit. The staff are very kind, and the food was great! Definitely plan for a bit of a wait if you go on the weekends, but the food is worth it!

I won’t be back - Edit
I definitely came with high expectations because I’d heard such positive things about Succotash from friends. I ordered some sort of vegan kitchen sink, and it was not good. I didn’t come close to finishing it and just ended up digging the potatoes out of it. I’m not a picky eater, especially when it comes to accepting vegan food as long as it’s vegan, but this was one of the few meals in my life I have straight up disliked. The restaurant also was incredibly dirty.

Lots of vegan options. The kitchen sink and pancakes are our faves. They have really good juices too. This is an awesome place for brunch! Great atmosphere. Guy Fieri has even been here!

Tasty and satisfying - Edit
We were in a big hurry before the ballet on a Sunday and had a hard time finding a place to eat near the Kauffman. We stumbled onto to Succotash and put our name on the list.
Read moreWe had to wait in not the greatest conditions and their complementary coffee is like ditch water. When we were finally seated, it was at a table near a door that was probably not supposed to be there. It was awkwardly close to the hostess stand and front door and I got a great close up of a guy's [censored] for a good 5 minutes since he seems clueless I was sitting behind him.
All that is the bad.
The good was the super friendly servers and the yummy vegan food. My husband and I both got the Vegan Sink, and it was salty and satisfying in the best way. My daughter got the vegan chocolate chip pancakes. They were yummy as well.
Next time we are in KC, we will probably go back, but plan on a better time and insist on a better seat,

Only a couple things to eat here, but both are very very good. Buckwheat pancakes and the vegan kitchen sink. Fair prices, and fun little spot on a quiet weekend morning. Great service as well.
