Everything is good. - Edit
The food there is welly cooked and would like to introduce to my friends and family. The old lady there is very friendly even tho sometimes she speaks quite loudly. Recommended place to go if you are looking for something not that pricy

Lots of variety but a bit pricy - Edit
Ordered favourite sambal petai, cereal prawn, stir fried sweet potato leaves, and gong bao ji ding~ highly recommend the sambal petai and sweet potato leaves dishes! Quite disappointed with the cereal prawn as my sister and I find the taste a bit off :S... Paid $61 for 4 dishes, 4 plates of rice and 4 drinks!

Good range of options - Edit
The ban mian soup tasted like it’s the type with the flavours primarily coming from the seasoning. Ingredients wise there were veggies, sliced tomatoes, konnyaku ‘sotong’, crispy mushroom fritters, & some tasty soy protein :) // The wok hei wasn’t evident in their carrot cake but t’was still a tasty dish without being too oily :)

Good only if you are already a regular diner here! - Edit
This is a simple venue.
Read moreIt is so simple that its food is advertised as photos on the wall. Some of these photos have a price written on them, but many don't. None of the photos have any words written on them - in any language - so if you do not already know what the meal is (so that you can ask for its price, at the least), then you will hopefully get whatever looks like that meal from the kitchen.
We asked for what looked like a large plate of mock fish for $10 and received two little bits of veg fish with a spicy sauce on it. We were shocked at this blatant rip-off and tried to query the size of the portion to be told that "that's the photo".
Nobody speaks English here, there is no menu, and the food, while tasty, is really all about guesswork. Ordering for us, as English speakers, was very difficult. Arguing was even more difficult.
Vegans should note that much of the mock fish sold in Singapore contains whey protein, but at a venue such as this, it is not feasible to check all the ingredients of your meal.
As a saving grace, the soup we ordered was a good portion size and quite filling, though again, we were not sure of whether the mock fish pieces in it were vegan or contained whey protein.
Pros: cheap, good soup
Cons: no menu, no English, sometimes no prices listed

What a discovery! Traditional Hakka Heritage Food - Edit
This rare traditional Hakka dish (Abacus Seed or Suan Pan Zi) is eaten during festive celebrations (Chinese New Year for prosperity) can be found at Su [censored] Piao Xiang at Level #01-01 and it is vegetarian version (without the dried shrimp and minced pork)!
Read moreThis simple dish ($4) which is stir-fry with mushroom, carrot and chilli shreds and garnished with lots of coriander leaves is tasty and not too oily. The abacus seed is chewy and with yam flavour but it looks more like a "out of shape ball" then abacus seed!
This would be a good dish to share among 2-4 pax, unless you are a big fan of Abacus Seed. I would prefer to have more mushroom slices and does not mind reducing the amount of abacus seed.
In this era, with the growing trends of vegetarian and vegetarian food, if there is a demand, the supply of veganise dishes will be there sooner or later ...
So, I am a Happy Vegetarian
