SuGuan is literally my favorite restaurant in the world. I go every single week. There’s something about the charm of the place, or maybe it’s 奶奶 sitting in the back peeling garlic, that’s so comforting. I trust SuGuan with my life. My go-to plates are the sour mushroom soup (the one that’s €15) and the hotpot (€12). They are both very filling and have very complex and delicious flavors. I also suggest the steamed or friend dumplings, they are always great and have us fighting over the last one. The vegetable soup (at the very back of the menu, €4) is the most comforting flavor I have ever put in my mouth — it literally feels like a hug, and it’s a great appetizer. I 1000% recommend going!

By far one of the best restaurants Ive ever eaten. Good prices, nice servers and amazing food. I highly recommend the fried mushrooms and the open dumplings. Ive eaten here twice in 4 days and I wish I could stay longer in Florence just to eat here again. My non vegan boyfriend is also impressed.

Have you ever read a manga or watched an anime and - all of a sudden - felt unexpectedly hungry because of all those incredibly good looking and attracting dishes? Well, in this little gem near Santa Maria Novella Station those dishes come to reality! Everything is vegan and incredibly tasty!!! Fully recommended! Hope to come back asap😄

Very good food, super delicious! All vegan and quite a big menu. However at the moment there is also quite a lot crossed off the menu. But the options are still great and the staff is very nice. She speaks very good English and offered for example the hot peach tea that was not on the menu because they didn’t have the rose tea at the moment. There is not many tables so a reservation is definitely recommended. We were lucky to be there early and still get a table without reservation. It is a bit expensive, but it was definitely worth it.

My husband is vegan so we went here our first night in Florence on our Honeymoon. The women working were very kind and fit us in even without a reservation. Get a reservation if you can though just to be safe. My husband was very happy with his dumplings. My hot pot was incredible even as leftover. I would definitely go there again.

Cute little vegan Chinese place. Extremely unique flavors like I’ve never had before. There was tofu skin in my soup, never had it and I can’t stop thinking about it it was like very thin sheets of tofu but folded up some how, I don’t know but it was fantastic. Great find.

Abbiamo preso spaghetti in zuppa agro piccante (forse mancava un po' di agro ma vabbè era stupenda lo stesso), un hotpot e delle verdure saltate. Abbiamo assaggiato anche due tipi di dolce: la pallina di riso con semi di sesamo al vapore e uno snack a base di datteri rossi e noci.

Superb Chinese Food and All Deliciously Vegan - Edit
We just left Su Guan and I couldn't wait to get back to our AirBNB and review the experience while I still have a very happy and very full belly. Chinese food has been my favorite type of food since I was a kid and since becoming vegan I haven't been able to find anything that was reliably made without cruelty on the menu in our home state of Colorado. Our meal at Su Guan was not just delicious "Vegan Chinese Food" with an asterisk, it is delicious Chinese food by any metric. The portions are generous, every dish we had was packed with flavor, fillings and complex spice profiles that can only be enjoyed with proper Asian cuisine offerings. We ended up ordering way too much food - it's ok, I'm a fat, Americano vegan and managed to eat everything anyway - and the bill was considerably less than I had braced myself for. They do offer to-go boxes if you end up with more than you bargained for on your plates, though.

Little vegan oasis near the station - Edit
A little vegetarian Oasis in Florence. The service was excellent, the food great: the steamed dumplings were good and clearly home made. We also got the open dumplings very good as well. The beer is of course in bottles, with ample options including Tsingtao, Peroni e Moretti. Overall a very positive experience.
