Cozy atmosphere, great food - Edit
Food was great, interesting combinations (e.g. beetroot and black berries). Everything was tasty. Clearly labelled vegan dishes. Nearly the whole menu is vegan, except around 3 dishes. -- We sat outside on a warm September day, such a lovely and quiet atmosphere. The inside looked cozy! -- Service was good.

Great place to eat before going to the cinema.

Read moreStudio K is een leuk filmhuis met restaurant in de Indische buurt gerund door studenten. Je kunt hier voor 19 euro een kaartje voor de film en een hoofdgerecht krijgen. De Vegan keuzes zijn beperkt, maar ze zijn bereid om een groot deel van de kaart Vegan te bereiden. Het eten is niet heel bijzonder, maar wel ok. De sfeer is prettig.
Nice movie house in Indian neighborhood
Studio K is a nice movie house with restaurant in the Indian neighborhood run by students. You can get a ticket for the movie and a main course here for 19 euros. The Vegan choices are limited, but they are willing to make a large part of the menu Vegan. The food is not very special, but ok. The atmosphere is pleasant.

Perfect place for dinner with non-vegans - Edit
I love this place, I ate here four times and every time it was delicious. Not expensive compared to other places in Amsterdam. I like that you can eat a full 3-course vegan dinner here. The desserts are really nice, I once had a brownie covered with chocolate and filled with a peanut butter sauce! The menu changes every few months which is great. Studio K has a nice atmosphere, since the interior is retro and as it's run by students. The only downside is that the service could be better. I give 4 stars as the place is not fully vegan.

Sat outside with my dog. Nice outdoor patio with umbrellas, cheap prices for booze and coffee and many vegan and veg options clearly marked. Staying nearby , so I can see myself coming back at different times of the day for a drink , coffee, or snack!

Great atmosphere, decent food - Edit
This restaurant/cinema is one of my favorite places to go to with my non-vegan friends, as it is not super expensive and they offer vegan food as well as meat/fish. What I like about this place is that they have a vegan option on the menu for every dinner course, which enables one to have a fully vegan three course dinner. The food is also quite original, I remember once having "popcorn pudding".
Read moreOne thing I don't like is that the service isn't that good. I don't know if it's because the entire restaurant is run by students, but I often have to wait long for drinks or food, and it happened more than once that they forgot my order completely! Other than that, I like this place and go there often, if only for the cosy "living room" atmosphere.
