Für Mensa Essen schmeckt es gut. Und es gibt immer ein veganes Gericht.
Eintönig wird es auch nicht, die Gerichte wechseln sich immer gut ab.

Okay. So I'm here a lot as I work on Campus. And I have many opinions about this Mensa.

First thing to note: All allergens are noted and vegan dishes are marked with a sun flower symbol.

Vegan main dishes are pretty rare, and most often they are a large portion of rice with a tablespoon of curry on top. I avoid those. The vegan Maultaschen and the Falafel with vegan Aioli are pretty good. The stews, if vegan, are also good.

I mostly eat from the Vegetable-Bar, though. It's a daily changing assortment of mostly vegan hot vegetable dishes. There's also pasta and one vegan sauce each day. There's also a salad bar, but that has gone downhill since the remodel, IMO. Now there's rarely any beans in the salad bar. For the Veggie-/Pasta- and salad bar you pay per weight.

If it's available, I definetly recommend the sweet bulgur with soy yogurt and fruit salad from the dessert counter.

If there's burgers or Currywurst, you can usually get a side order of the fries without the meat.

In the building is also the Pizza-Bar, which has one vegan pizza each day (either broccoli or spinach-mushroom). The pizza is very good.
