Nice cake and good vibes

The last days of the season, Just before closing time. Enjoying the sun and a vegan cake. Which was ok, but an extra star for the friendly staff and view at the sea.
Looking at the menu, quite some vegan options, except for lunch (only 1 option)

Pros: View at the sea, Friendly staff

Decent

They had curry and a lentil burger as vegan options for dinner, but the burger was sold out. The curry was nice. Service was very friendly. Prices on the higher side.

Edit: went again and had the burger. It came with a baked potato that was partly rotten. They replaced it and said sorry, but I felt like they didn't really care all that much. I don't know, maybe offer a free drink or something as well to show you sort of care?

I wouldn’t go here for the food, but if you’re on the beach it’s not the worst place to have a bite. Though prepare to pay a lot for mediocre (at best) food. But what’s up with every single beachclub here having curry and/or a burger as vegan options? They all advertise themselves as creative, LOL. Oh, and it’s not actually in Kijkduin at all.

Great vegan lunch options

Lots of vegan choices for lunch, the shakshuka is really good 🌱 Also the bitterballen are really nice. You’re welcome with your dog which is great because the dogbeach is right next to this place 😊

Try the bitterballen!!

There is enough choice and not only on fridays. The 'bitterballen' are really great with curry and other flavours.
Diner was fine but not very special. There are also vegan cakes.
Prices are normal for a beach restaurant (a bit higher than elsewhere).

Pros: vegans have choice here, nice people

Fine

I was there last summer, and see they already have more vegan option on the menu (vegan breakfast as well).

The curry was really really spicy, so ask if this is still the case if you're not into spicy.

For the rest nothing special: normal, relaxed beach restaurant :)
