Vegan Options!

I love how many vegan options this place has! I've had the simple garden wrap which was packed with fresh veggies and they subbed vegan mayo instead of the balsamic vinaigrette for me. My husband had the vegan shredder with jackfruit and said it was fantastic. We also got the vegan BLT with Herbivorous Butcher bacon and it was so good!! They also have vegan Cuban and Reubens sandwiches. I could eat lunch here every day of my trip.

**Update July 2024** Reading my review from 2021 makes me sad because the vegan options have been basically cut in half since then. They no longer offer the vegan shredder, cuban or reuben. They still have a veggie burger and a greek sub on the menue which can probably be made vegan and the VBLTA which is delicous but costs $18 without a side... Just disappointing to see their options dwindle while so many other restaurants nearby keep getting better.

Pit stop after a hike

American food with some vegan options, not top pick but it was good. Greek wrap was very low fat without dressing

Cons: Expensive

Vegan BLTA ftw

The VBLTA is delicious but I did ask for double vegan bacon and seemed like it should have been the regular portion 🤷🏻‍♀️. Not cheap at bringing it to almost 20 dollars for a sandwich. Vegan Bacon is very crispy and crunchy. But enjoyable.

Pros: Yummy

Cons: Expensive

So disappointed!

I was so excited to the vegan BLTA and they were out of it. The cashier was going out of her way trying to be helpful offering suggestions and was very knowledgeable about vegan options, but the menu is more catered to vegetarians. I ended up with the Greek Harvest bowl and it was ridiculously small and overpriced!

Pros: Knowledgeable and friendly staff

Cons: Limited vegan options, Long wait for food, [censored] serving size

Great vegan sandwiches

Such a cute place! They have a bunch of vegetarian sandwiches that can easily be made vegan. I got the veggie Greek sub and they swapped out the mayo for vegan mayo and removed the provolone. It was delicious!

Very Limited Vegan Options

Only two vegan options available on the whole menu - BLTA (bacon lettuce tomato avocado sandwich) and a vegetable wrap without a protein source. Onion rings and cauliflower bites, both breaded and fried, are not vegan. No vegan soups.

The BLTA was delicious, but it was average in size, the bacon was very dry and friable and it was expensive - $15.

Service was quick.

Pros: Quick service

Cons: Not a good value play, Hardly any vegan options

Vegan Yummy!

The Vegan BLTA was tasty, nice crispy vegan bacon with a real bacon flavor. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh! I would get the vegan mayo on the side next time, as it was too much mayonnaise on a Sammy for my preference. The vegan bean chili had a nice kick to it, and was my favorite. Definitely try that if it’s the “soup of the day.”

The fries were really good too. I’d definitely go back.

really good !!

my sister and i split a the vegan blta and reuben, and they were both delicious!! really making me wish i had a sandwich place with vegan options back home! however every sandwich was abt $14 and they didn’t have tap water so you have to buy an overpriced drink…

Cons: Expensive

Vegan section on menu

They have about 1/2 dozen sandwiches that are vegan, including BLT, Reuben and a BBQ “chicken.” High quality and fresh, rather than “beyond” products. They are popular and everything is made to order, so if you are there during peak season, order ahead if you don’t want to wait at the restaurant while they make your sandwich.

Pros: Great vegan options, Fresh, Creative

Herbivorous Butcher products

I saw these vegan cheeses and meats advertised but I had never had them before. Tiring of burritos and veggie burgers and tacos I decided to give this place a try. The BLTA Was delicious (although they forgot the avocado). The Italian sub tasted exactly like the real thing. The good news is that there are several vegan choices and they were all very tasty. The bad news is I don’t think this is particularly healthy food. Still it’s very good to have a choice of something different.

Pretty good, expired oat milk :(

I got the Reuben and my partner got the pulled chicken bbq sandwich and both were delicious. Unfortunately, the only oat milk they had available was in the fridge, and I poured it in my coffee and it was clear like water. Then, I checked the sell by date and it was over a month ago. I just dumped it and had sans oat milk.

Pros: Many vegan options

Cons: Expired oat milk

Amazing options

Wow. We ordered a vegetarian Cuban, a vegan shredder and a vegan bacon avocado wrap. All were fantastic. You can see the kitchen as it is an open concept. I saw them cook everything in separate pans, so no chance of meat contact. It was excellent. They are friendly and helpful. Very reasonable pricing for what you get.

Pros: Lots of Vegetarian and vegan options , Open kitchen , Great food

Cons: Not a secret, busy at lunch

Might be visiting more often now

We had been here in the past and while it was okay, I wasn't particularly drawn to going back (the fries were good, though). In fairness, I am not a big sandwich person.

We decided to go again recently and I'm so glad we did.
We looked online and were going to share the rainbow wrap. It seemed fine for what it was and though I wasn't craving it as you might crave some other things, I thought it would at least be fresh and I would get my much-needed dose of veggies (someone posted a picture of it here though and it looks a lot better than I expected!). Before ordering, we spotted the daily specials which featured a BLTA (veggie bacon). There were other vegan options, too. I was excited and we decided to try that instead. My boyfriend was a bit hesitant about the bacon part and what it would be made out of (I told him I thought it would be imitation bacon and not tempeh, etc.). In the end, he couldn't tell the difference and even I felt a bit doubtful! We both enjoyed it. He felt the bacon could have been a tad less crispy but I've always liked my bacon like that and it was nice to taste something I haven't had in a long time. The only thing I noticed towards the end was that it seemed to have cheese (I wasn't sure if it was vegan). I didn't remember seeing this in the description and unfortunately the special was erased from the board (maybe they ran out). I am still vegetarian though I would like to move towards being animal-free but there was a lady in the restaurant who was clearly vegan and who also mentioned something about being lactose intolerant so I worried about her more. Also not sure if there was vegan mayo or not.

I did thank one of the restaurant owners for offering more vegan options. I think it's important to let owners know that you appreciate these types of efforts. And the fries were still good.😄

I usually prefer to have real, whole foods if choosing vegan but I have to say I really liked having this option and am also excited to try the veggie hot dog!

Pros: More vegan options

Cons: Setting can feel a bit crowded at times, Not open in the evening (would be a nice option)
