Wow. Just wow!!!!

Such a great meal — probably our best one while visiting Bryce Canyon. The beet salad was outstanding — so flavorful and good sized. The vegan pepper entree was very flavorful too — highly recommend. We capped off our meal with the oat cake and raspberry sorbet - out of this world! Definitely check this place out. Beautiful views as well! 10/10

Excellent food

I had a fantastic dining experience at Stone Hearth Grill. They made it incredibly easy for vegans, as they clearly marked vegan options on their menu, and the staff was knowledgeable about vegan preferences. The dishes were not only vegan but also uniquely original. What's more, the professionalism of the staff added to the overall excellence of the visit. I highly recommend Stone Hearth Grill for a memorable dining experience.

Pleasantly Surprised

After hiking around Bryce Canyon with 3 other vegan friends, we were very hungry and found this place listed here so decided to visit. It was a very scenic drive to a pretty remote location and well worth it! There were 2 vegan salad options, 1 vegan appetizer (beet ravioli), and 1 vegan entree (relleno) and we tried a few of each. The flavors and presentation were fantastic along with the view and service.

Pros: Unique flavor combinations, Outside seating with great view , Fantastic service

Cons: Small portions , Pricey, Only a few options

Gourmet dinner

Our visit here was our dinner splurge for our trip. With one vegan entree, we both knew we would order the Roasted Poblano Relleno which was so flavorful. The portion was not going to satisfy two hikers so we were glad we ordered appetizers. The beet "ravioli" were superb. The flavors and presentation outstanding. My husband had the romaine heart. We were staying in Tropic and could walk to this location, otherwise it could be chalked up to an adventure to find, though that is typical in this area. As others commented, the views were great. If there was more than one vegan entree we would have eaten here more than once during our trip as it was a great dining experience.

Pros: Hand crafted, superbly flavored dishes, views and interior ambiance, Attentive, friendly service

Cons: only one vegan entree, portion size

This is crafted food, not mass market.

We had beet "ravioli", hearts of romaine salad, broccolini. Non vegan had French onion soup and fresh bread. ( all appetizers.) Everything felt, tasted, looked fresh with subtle and unique flavors, appropriate portion sizes.

Beet ravioli is paper thin beets with cashew cream filling. Surprised and amazed at taste, mouth-feel. They were creative and sassy.

Romaine salad snapped with light yet impressive dressing. Candied pecans provided an accent flavor and mouthgfeel.

French onion soup was well presented with abundant cheese broiled atop and dense buried crostini for a hearty meal.

Location will feel like you are driving into the high desert...keep going. Staff was uber-polite, efficient. Cost was high compared to mass market eating.

Pros: Gorgeous presentation , Creative flavors and mouth-feel

Cons: Limited choice, So much potential for creativity w veg proteins

Lovely fine dining with a view!

Made a reservation through their webpage & received email confirmation. We ordered the beets and carrots to start - which were both delicious. The roasted poblano and fruit crisp (without the cream) were also delicious. Menu is clearly marked with vegan items (V ). Lovely views from outdoor deck and our table inside. Food is pricey, but we enjoyed it. The waitress was not very friendly or happy, and the service was extremely slow, but otherwise we had a good meal.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan options

Cons: Expensive

Never got a call back

You have to leave a message to make a reservation and we never received a call back. I was really looking forward to this meal near Bryce Canyon.

Culinary delight

Just one vegan main course but several other vegan items are on the menu, all marked V+ (V is for just plain vegetarian). I had the entree, roasted poblano relleno — a super-tasty, beautifully presented, large roasted poblano pepper with cashew butter, red cabbage, avocado, salsa verde, apple, toasted seeds, and cilantro. Very satisfying. My spouse was equally enchanted with his Chinese red duck and scallop entree. Decent craft beer selection. Attractive modern post and beam building with very high vaulted ceilings, tucked away in a secluded location. Easy to get to, but a little way out of town in a natural desert scrub setting. The outdoor seating was closed — just a little too cold — but it must be stunning dining on the porch with a view of the desert scrub and flowers and the distant mountains.

Pros: Extraordinary and imaginative vegan dish, Interesting architecture and view

Cons: Pricey (but worth it)

Chef knows what Vegan means.

My plate was actually really good, not just “good for around here.” Friendly staff and although not all on the menu, actually having a chef means that there truly are ways to make items vegan. Nice atmosphere, definitely sit outside if the weather is nice.

Pros: Actual vegan option every day., View, Locals discount.

Cons: Could be more options actually on the menu.

Different and Delicious

I was ecstatic to find this gem in a rural area that typically provides no vegan options. A little pricey, but everything exceeded our expectations.
