When I was little,I used to go here every Saturday with my mum. There has always been a wide variety of organic produce. There are also little stalls selling food.A lady sells Gozlemes(they are little Turkish pancake like pastries filled with potatoes, cheese, spinach).A milkman in the back sells dairy in glass bottles. This farmers market is a gem.
As I've gotten older I've grown to realise the importance of places like this-not only do they bring communities together but they also hold a legacy. The organic produce that they sell nourishes our bodies and has taken into consideration how by doing this negative impacts on the environment are reduced.Although produce can be sold in plastics, the produce is locally grown-this reduces food miles that increase carbon dioxide emissions. You do more good for the planet and your family and future by going to places like this instead of Sainsbury's or Tesco's.Furthermore, some produce is not in plastics and can be be bought in bulk (and organic!) and that is a rarity.By going to places like this,we can do our bit to reduce our contributions to climate change because our modern day civilisation has contributed immensely to climate change. We need to own up to anthropological climate change and make little changes here and there because they do add up and we have enough time to make these changes count,as of yet,but we may not later down the line.

Pros: Nice, kind people selling their own produce, The milk man is a nice fella, Local produce, less food miles, organically grown
Cons: Only on Saturdays, Get up late on Saturday=most produce sold, Can't think of another one
