Super tasty! - Edit
The food here is great, really flavourful and good quality. We had the 'chili fried chckn' bun and it did not disappoint! The hoisin garlic aioli was so good and the tofu was crispy and well seasoned. Will be back!

Good mix of styles and healthy/fun foods - Edit
Unfortunately got there minutes before they closed at 8pm so their grills were closed.
Read moreOrdered momos, pakoras and samosas. Not very spicy (good for the kids) but still tasty.
Opted to eat outside, lots of outdoor seating available just outside the market hall.
Will try to.come back for a burger next time!
Pros: Can walk around while food is being prepped, Asian and North American food options, Everything from salads to deep fried pakoras

Neah.. Boring and tasteless - Edit
I went there because of the good reviews..
Read morethe experience was disappointing. The food was tasteless and boring, lacking the flavor and excitement I hoped for. It's meals like these that perpetuate the stereotype of vegan food being bland, making people pity those who choose a plant-based diet. I hope they can improve their recipes to show that vegan food can be delicious and satisfying. Also expensive.
Cons: Expensive for what you get, Boring, Tasteless

Very tasty - Edit
We went on a not so great day. They were having staff issues so they were very limited on food options. But I had a taco bowl and it was perfect. The menu is great!

Very friendly people work here. They helped explain more when we had questions about the menu. The serving size was BIG and the burgers were very messy was the only con. Make sure to get extra napkins! The Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie was very moist and sweet. 100% Vegan 🌱

An "OK" experience - Edit
Stir It Up is a fully vegan cafe/resturant thay offer 7 warm dishes, 4 cold dishes, soft drinks, and pastries. I appreciate that Stir It Up is fully vegan, but I was sadly not impressed. The food was okay, but nothing special. The "Sweet Chilli Killer Fried Chick'Un" was ok, "Macaroni salad" was very garlicky and "Chick'Un Nugs and Chips" was ok. The nuggets were mushy inside, almost like a paste, but the outside was good and crunchy. The fries were ok.
Read moreI understand that the restaurant/cafe is located in a food court, but I was a bit disappointed that the food came in plastic/paper containers. Even the cutlery was single use plastic.
Pros: Fully vegan cafe/resturant , Glutenfree options
Cons: Single use containers & cutleries

Great addition to a food hall - Edit
They are fully vegan and have gf options as well.
Read moreHad the mooless Mac burger and a Caesar salad. I picked out the croutons but I think the bacon bits were not gf so be aware of that if you're gf. (It isn't listed as being gf, I'm just not super duper allergic to gluten).
The burger was OK. I LOVED the gf bun. Probably one of the best gf buns ever!
Really liked the homemade patties instead of an impossible or beyond patty. It wasn't saucy enough though. Needed a lot more sauce.
I'd come back, but it wouldn't be my first inclination.
Pros: Gf options clearly labeled

So yummy! - Edit
On a cold and rainy day in June, this vegan spot near the cruise port is a gem in the red PEI soil. We had the buffalo chick’un Caesar wrap and the Caribbean Dahl soup! Both were delicious and flavorful.

My ship docked in Charlottetown and I took the opportunity to go here for lunch but it was closed even tho google says should have been open. I went to the pizza place a couple stalls up and got a vegan pizza which was also delicious (serves meat, vegan options available).

Well, they know me by name, lol. Absolutely delicious vegan food, the KFC (killer fried ChickUN) is absolutely amazing. I order food for non-veg physicians from out of province and they have loved SIU immensely, as have my coworkers. Always fresh and delicious. Something for everyone.

Wish we’d found this place as soon as we got to Charlottetown! Split the Buffalo Killer Fried Chick’Un & Cremini Poutini between two of us and it was a good amount for dinner. Flavours were fantastic, menu creative and enticing. The crew were amicable and attentive.

I’m still thinking about it 3 years later. Amazing options, even gluten free sandwich breads. Smoky tofu, awesome. Crispy jerk, awesome. Meatball sub, awesome. Wouldn’t change a thing about these mind-blowing offerings!

Just Incredible. - Edit
I wish I could eat here every day. Had lunch here on a quick visit to PEI and all 3 of us loved our meals. I had the Whaler and it was the closest thing to “fish” that I can remember having as a vegan. Perfect for being by the sea. I cannot wait to come back and wish I’d been able to go more than once during my visit.

Absolutely insane!! - Edit
SO GOOD. I can’t even get over how incredible this place was. It didn’t open until the last day of our vacation (closed Monday & Tuesday , Wednesday’s 11-4) otherwise we would have eaten here every day no joke. We had the spicy jerk burger, sweet chili killer fried chick’un burger and moo less Mac fries. We ordered the loaded jack fries but they were out of jackfruit so substituted it for the moo less and it was the BEST. Everything was just amazing, jam packed with flavour and such fun drool worthy choices, so happy and grateful for this place!

Truly magical place - Edit
This is a truly magical place. Imagine entering a vintage vinyl record shop with a nostalgic ambience and inside, by the end of the shop, you have this magical place that has haven foods. This is the place. The staff is super nice and kind. We had two mushroom soups and these were the best we have had for a long time. I am a soup lover and this soup is amazing, congratulations to the chefs! We also had two sandwiches and they were also tasty. In the end, just to top it up, we bought a wonderful oat caramel dessert, and it was perfect. I definitely recommend this place from heaven, especially in an area that hasn't that many vegan options and where the Dairy industry, unfortunately, still has a big influence :(
