They told us it was going to be a 20 min wait and we ended up waiting over an hour. The order came out at vastly different times. They served me a beef burger instead of beyond. They messed up the bill on top of that too.

It’s okay. Nothing to ride home about. I only go with friends who are visiting from out of town- and they eat meat. They used to have more vegan options a few years ago. Heavenly is just a tourist trap. There’s a lot better food in south lake off the beaten path.

TERRRRRRIBLE. DON'T BOTHER. Changed their menu. Only have beyond burger and salad. Shared fryer for everything. Not knowledgeable. Kinda rude. After lying to us about vegan choices the vegan portion of our party got food elsewhere and brought to the outdoor picnic table to eat with the rest of our party. We were told we couldn't eat outside food at the restaurant. Oh also, their bathroom was out of order so we had to go to a nearby hotel.

Great location in south lake that supposedly had a lot of vegan options. No vegan items on the menu except beyond burger but a couple we could modify. Asked for the buffalo cauliflower with no blue cheese and the nachos with no cheese and no sour cream. Cauliflower came with blue cheese and nachos came with cheese.

I was in Tahoe for three days in Feb 2020 and ate here three times. The burger option is great - make sure to get the vegan bun. GF bun is vegan too, but not that good. The meatloaf is a huge portion and really good. I got it with the BBQ sauce.

The place is the basement of the strip and very interesting. Vegan options are limited, but if you want a bar environment this is a good place.

We had the beyond burger and the vegan Thai curry. The curry was great but the burger was average and although I'm pretty sure it was beyond it's always disconcerting to me when it is served in the same restaurant as meat. It's just so difficult to tell the difference. My recommendation: stick to the curry, it's awesome!

It was a bummer they didn’t have the hummus platter. Nice environment though. I had the Farmers Market Salad with no feta, and it was delicious! I also had the Vegan Curry, didn’t dig it much. Edemames are also great!

They have Beyond Burgers!!! - Edit
We showed up for lunch and noticed they only had a couple vegan options. When I asked what else could be made vegan, the server said they had the Beyond Burger and any of their burgers could be made vegan (minus a cheese option). We got the Forrest floor burger and just asked for it to be vegan (didn’t have to specify what to exclude). The burger was cooked really well!

Lovely that they made the effort to have three interesting vegan choices. Hubby and I were going to go for the beyond burger but on inquiring about the fries we were informed they we're cooked in the same frier as fish. I therefore went for the Thai curry and the rice was very overcooked and the curry was very plain lacking the spice, sweetness and saltiness of a Thai curry. It was more a mild coconut sauce. Packed with cauliflower and brocoli. The ales were much better though. Plenty of space, sports bar atmosphere.

Located in downtown Tahoe it's in a great location with a great patio. Only 2 vegan options and both are decent. Fries can come out tasting meat like as they're fried in the same oil so I'd recommend skipping them.

I love that there are vegan options on the menu clearly labelled. The chia burger was a bit dry but tasted good and the cucumber sauce was really good. There is a quinoi salad offered as a side and is great, though a very large portion. I was upset that there was no vegan options on the kids menu. Those with me who eat meat said the food was good too.

I went here to get drinks and an appetizer. I got the edamame hummus and it was really good! I had never had anything like it. We ended up going back to this place again for dinner one night during our trip. This time I got the beyond burger with a vegan bun. My friend tried the vegan thai curry. We both loved our food!! I’d go back here if I’m ever in Lake Tahoe again.
