Vegan options in a long-established restaurant - Edit

I chose the tofu with vegetables and house fries from the small vegan menu. The dish was sufficient and tasted good. The tomato sauce could have been a little more, the tofu was plentiful. The service was quick and friendly. A small selection of vegan dishes in an old-established Mettmann restaurant with meat dishes was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is located in the Mettmann city forest and offers a nice walk before or after dinner.
The four vegan dishes on the menu cost between € 13.50 and € 15.50. The vegan tomato soup costs € 6.90.

Great location, fast service, food okay - Edit

The menu offers a nice selection of several vegan dishes. The food was served quickly and the portion was large enough. My salad plate had really a lot of smoked tofu - so no lack of protein here. The melon slices were unfortunately only shaved strips with still the skin on it, which worked more as decoration. All in all, I found the price of 15,50 Euro a bit high. Unfortunately, they do not offer any plant milk for coffee. The food was good, though not outstanding - but it is great to have vegan food in Mettmann! In good weather you can use the large, beautiful terrace and take a walk in the Stadtwald.
