Great vegan options for an omni burger joint

Their menu is really well-labeled, and on top of that, they've got a good selection of vegan options, including vegan cheese and pretzel buns 🤤 The tetris tots are sadly not vegan, fyi!

Pros: Good selection , Clearly labeled menu

Meh

This is a good place to hang out with your carnivore loved ones. The Tetris tots are adorbs & I imagine great for kids. The black bean burger is mushy and tastes like falafel. I should have gotten hummus and pita with it instead of the lettuce, tomatoes, avocado vegan cheese.

Appreciate the effort

The “naked on a bed of greens” option for vegan and vegetarian “burgers” is nice, and they do offer vegan mayo and cheddar, but there are only two sides (fruit or salad) that are vegan.

This is what I’d call a compromise place. Omnivores will be fine. Vegetarians will have far more choices here than vegans.

Pros: Three veggie burger patty options.

Cons: Few sides for vegans

Thanks for your review, I'm going to a work lunch here and I was wondering about the sides... fruit it is.

Amazing and Consistent

We live locally and love this place. They understand what it means when you order a burger vegan, and they have vegan cheese. An excellent option!

Amazing veggie burgers

We had an awesome lunch here. Their fried pickles and breaded mushrooms are vegan and amazing. They have the impossible burger and vegan cheese and mayo. Their black bean patty is also vegan if you order without cheese. Portions were large and they had a great beer selection. They also have a vegetarian walnut and chickpea burger, no sure why it’s not vegan, maybe eggs to bind it? The impossible burger was awesome.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Good selection, Delicious black bean and impossible burger

Cons: A little pricey

Thanks for the review, however the breaded Mushrooms and fried pickles are vegetarian- not vegan. Just wanted to mention it to not confuse people.

Some good some meh

Nice to have vegan options-impossible burger was great as was hummus stak however-got a side salad which looked great but I was told oil and vinegar was the only vegan option for dressing-ok... they sent out a plastic cup with white vinegar and one with some type of oil. Really? A vinaigrette is too hard to make? Took the salad to go and put dressing on it at home.

Pros: Some vegan options, Impossible burger

Cons: $14 vegan burger more than an actual animal

above average

The hummus platter was wonderful, warm toasty pita with fresh veggies and the hummus texture was spot on with slices of pepper in it. The bean burger was good (not amazing, but very good) and the vegan cheese was awesome! Delicious pretzel bread. Nice people and fast service.

Pretty good vegetarian burgers

This is a burger joint, but they do have some nice vegetarian and vegan options. I had a quinoa burger on a vegan roll; not ultra healthy, but it tasted just fine.

Pros: Some nice vegan options

Cons: Mostly for non-vegetarians

Great Black Bean Burger

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. I just sat at the bar, and the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Black Bean Stacked burger with vegan cheese and sweet potato fries. It was one of the better black bean burgers I've ever had. Don't forget to request that the bun not be buttered, though if vegan.

I'd definitely come back again. And next time I'll try something from their well stocked bar.

Don't go here if you're vegan...vegetarian, maybe.

Yeah they have vegan cheese (Follow Your Heart brand) and vegan mayonnaise (Vegenaise brand), but what good does that do a vegan when there is almost nothing vegan to put it on? Sure they have a homemade black bean burger but it's not vegan, the waitress said it was just vegetarian. Since I was there with someone I couldn't just leave so I got their 'Hummus, Lettuce, Tomato' sandwich without the hummus and added Vegenaise. I was entirely skeptical about my sandwich; I hope it was truly vegan. With that said if you're vegan, avoid this place...if you're vegetarian, you have a lot more options and you may very well like this place. But to add another point of view, the person I was with (non-vegetarian) said his burger was very lackluster.

This place also loses points because of the horrible service we encountered. There were only two tables in the restaurant (with 4 servers) and the service was very slow. I hate to say it, but some people just should not be working as waiters/waitresses, our waitress being one of them. She was slow, inattentive and messed up my order big time while charging us for extras we didn't even ask for. Given this experience, I will never go back to Stak'd.

Pros: Many vegetarian options

Cons: Horrible service, Few vegan options for vegan condiments
