need more can options but the 1 entree is good - Edit
I saw this place on Happy Cow and a few other vegan sites so I wanted to give it a try. The only menu I could fine was on Google reviews from over a year ago. When I arrived and saw the menu I was disappointed that there were no 100% vegan options except an appetizer and only one main dish that could be modified to vegan aside from a few salad options. I decided on the stuffed red pepper modified to be vegan (no cheese). I had low expectations BUT it was really tasty and the portion was really big. The atmosphere and service are great, but I wish they had more vegan options.

Great food, okay service - Edit
Service was slow and our server couldn’t recommend anything from the menu. She didn’t seem to have much knowledge about the food so maybe she was new. The food was great. I had the carrot and lentil dip with pita bread and the stuffed pepper without cheese. Both were wonderful and came with enough for two meals. This is our last day in Puerto Rico and my husband said this was the best food he had during our entire visit. He’s vegetarian and had the special sandwich with fries. They didn’t have anything available for dessert because the cook forgot to finish making it so that was disappointing (and a little weird).

So good! - Edit
There are several vegan options and some of the vegetarian options can be modified to be vegan. For lunch, we ordered a delicious vegan eggplant stew with criollo sauce, plantains, avocados and quinoa, the Don Pedro salad without cheese (mixed greens, black beans, plantains, avocado, and cherry tomatoes, with a vinaigrette dressing), and a vegan brownie. Everything was delicious! Also the service is friendly and atmosphere is cute. Highly recommend.

Limited but high quality - Edit
Limited Vegan options. They recommended a salad without the cheese. We ended up veganizing the Sicilian Sandwich and it was phenomenal! Very good food for what can be made vegan. Just know there are limited options. 🥑🥑

Tried to go for brunch but they didn't really have any options that day. Ended up back at Cafe Berlin.

Good stop in Old San Juan - Edit
Good food. I got a pita pizza with spinach, mushrooms & peppers (ask for no cheese) with a side of chick peas. It was very good and reasonably priced.

Amazing - Edit
Stopped in Puerto Rico for one night and found this place on Happy Cow. They only had one completely vegan option, however, it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. There have a handful of vegetarian options and they are more than happy to work with you to take things off of their options to make them vegan. Could not recommend this place enough.

Great little spot in Old San Juan - Edit
We checked HC for the closest veg-friendly restaurant from El Morro and St Germain was it. It is a quaint little place with nice decor and amazing natural light in the middle of a residential area in San Juan. The menu has quite a few veg options but nothing denotes specifically as vegan. We were able to come up with our order though, an avocado, lettuce and tomato sandwich for Monica and a spinach mushroom pepper pizza for myself with no cheese.
Read moreMy mistake was not reading the fact that my pizza had no sauce or olive oil or anything so it was very dry. Luckily the flavor made up for it, but if you plan to try one of their pizzas, make sure the bread has some sort of sauce.
My wife enjoyed her sandwich and we both enjoyed the fresh guacamole and refreshing sangrias!
Pros: great atmosphere, friendly staff, will accommodate veg, just ask
Cons: vegan options not denoted - so ask
