Pleasant surroundings

Good, hearty, vegan chili with rice. Other vegan items include two burgers, sausage bap and soup-of-the-day (lentil-tomato).
The café also sells maps, postcards, etc. Pleasant surroundings, picnic tables outside.
Posted signs say it’s open 10-4, but it was actually open at 11:30, according to the note that the visitor information centre had (Tue Aug. 13, 2024).

Simple and satisfying

Small scale offerings.

Around 50% of the options are vegan or adaptable to vegan.

Even some of the cakes are vegan.

The nut burger is a winner 🏆

Great for the hills

Made sure we planned a walk to the Beacon at the weekend so we could visit this delightful cafe which has outdoor seating. A really pleasant setting with good signposting from the town. Most items (not all) are vegan but all are clearly marked on menu. We had Indian snacks which came with mango chutney & a spicy bean burger. Also had a portion of carrot cake.

Pros: Generous cake portions, Nice setting

Cons: No WiFi

Perfect spot to take a break on a hike

Lovely outdoor seating - quiet, scenic place to take a break during a sweaty hike on a summer's day. Really nice to find a pure veggie/vegan place in the midst of the beautiful Malvern Hills. Shared the vegan pie. A special place.

Hits the spot!

Lovely Victorian building offering only vegetarian and vegan delights. Perfectly located at the bottom of the Worcestershire beacon so a great place to stop before or after your hills walk. I had the vegan carrot cake and it was so tasty and moist (generous slice too!).

Pros: Solely a vegetarian and vegan cafe, Dogs allowed, Beautiful setting

Cosy and very good value

We had soup and bread. 2 types of soup both vegan and delicious. Curried parsnip and chunky veg. The bread fresh and crusty. Vegan butter available. Service efficient and friendly. Will return.

Pros: Dogs allowed!

Nice coffee stop

I love the fact that the little cafe at one of Great Malvern's historic tourist attractions is vegetarian. We went to look at the well and popped in for coffee and cake. They have soya milk available for drinks plus a choice of vegan cakes. I also noticed that they have coconut ice lollies.
The garden looked lovely with lots of seating - I wish it had been sunny when we were there!

Pros: Vegan options inc cake and light lunches, Interesting historic building, Lovely garden

Cons: Smallish indoor seating area

delightful

Stumbled upon this almost vegan cafe on our walk up the hill...a lovely happy surprise! We all had the vegan cottage pie with sweet potato mash and it was delicious! Home made elderflower cordial was also great and the cakes were to die for. Beautiful setting under the trees with both indoor and outdoor seating in an historical building housing St Ann's Well. Many gluten free options also on offer. Happy friendly owners too.

We will be coming back!

Set in a beautiful location this is well worth the walk up the steep hill. It is a cafe with just a few options such as pasties, pies and baguettes but with vegan choices of all. We had vegan Homity Pie which was delicious. This is probably my favourite choice of food though! Also a vegan vegetable pasty. There were three choices of vegan cake - carrot, chocolate fudge and coffee. We had the first two and they were very big portions. Sitting in the sunshine, listening to the birds singing and eating vegan goodies is my idea of heaven.

Pros: Vegan Homity Pie, Vegan options, Beautiful location

Great vegan cakes

Met our hiking group at this place. quite a steep incline to get there. I did not know it was a vegetarian vegan plave till I got there. Had a coffee cake, chocolate cake and carrot cake.

I think it's a small cafe with outdoor seating with some vegan food on the menu board.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Serves secretions

Basically a Tea House

After a very steep ascent to the top of the hill the promise of a drink and a bit of cake is very welcoming. Not much on offer here except tea coffee, cold drinks and some lovely vegan cakes. Not all cakes are vegan. It's not a bad place at all, with lovely gardens and views.

Pros: vegan cakes

Cons: steep climb, limited choice
