Good, filling food - Edit
Not really a restaurant, more like a street bar. Very informal and basic setting. The food is very good and filling. Friendly service

Favourite meal in Sri Lanka - Edit
This place was so good. The food was delicious and the restaurant was full of locals. The staff didn't speak much English but understood we wanted no ghee or yoghurt. We both had different dosai and were stuffed and happy by the time we left. It was also ridiculously cheap.

Extremely friendly and cheap - Edit
This was one of our cheapest meals we had on our Sri Lanka trip! And it was super delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and when we asked about vegan things he tried to help us and then asked the chef and came back to give us infos about everything. I can recommend this place if you want to enjoy local cuisine!

Really fair price for very good food - Edit
We had some really good Dosa here. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. He even checked in the kitchen which Dosa are for sure vegan, what I really apreciated. Also it's not expensive at all, eventhough it's at a really good location.

Amazing dosa and other things - Edit
Love it here. They have so many vegan staff and the people understand vegan. The taste was amazing! You can also have something without chili. Recommended!

Nice dosa and combos at a good price - Edit
Nice, small South Indian pure veg place located near the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, right across the street from Balaji.
Read moreCame here a few times while I was in Kandy. Had dosa (all good stuff, if a little oily) and the combo, which came with rice, uttapam, sambol, chana masala (?), dal, one dal vada, and a sweet. Low prices for all.
Most of the staff didn't speak a lot of English, but they were very helpful nonetheless. They confirmed that nothing had dairy in it, and even made the point to explain everything that was in the sweet (which I was most concerned about, as they often contain butter or condensed milk).
Just a nice, straightforward place in Kandy for any meal of the day.

Basic, filling, and cheap - Edit
Fully vegetarian restaurant, plenty of vegan options. I tried the paper dosa - would recommend to stick to a normal thickness dosa, the paper dosa was quite oily. Yesterday we tried the other veg dosa shop a couple doors down, my friends said they preferred the dosas here but the curries at the other place. We've had better curries but these ones were still filling, although basic.

Accidents Will Happen - Edit
We went here accidentally, I'd used the app to see there was a dosa place very close to our hotel, I spotted the place from across the street but once I'd crossed the busy road I just saw 'vegetarian' on the window and went in, it wasn't until after we'd ate and left that I realised the one I'd meant to go in was two doors down on the same street. The server was excellent and advised what was vegan, my girlfriend was craving a dosa but I went for the lunch set at 250 rupees. The masala dosa was big and delicious but spicy, my lunch set was great consisting of a mini onion pancake, 3 curries, a spicy donut type thing and a pineapple flavoured sweet. In the evening we went to the other dosa place but the next day we came back to this place as we preferred it. Great value and great food.
