Epic find on our second night - Edit
Would give it 7 stars if I could, delicious, cheap, fast service and a great atmosphere. We ate there 6 out of 7 nights we stayed in Penang.

Risky but delicious - Edit
First waiter didn't know of vegan foods, he said they only have rice and naan bread (isn't even that often with milk or yoghurt?). He then asked the boss of the shift to help me, and he assured me to trust him, he'll fix something. I got rice, two sauces (pumpkin based and cauliflower based) and some crispy bread. Now obviously as it is a mixed restaurant, they certainly do not have different pots and pans for vegan food. There will for sure be some small amount of contamination, droplets of this and touches of that, and for me as a hc vegan it's hard to see past, but if you can then the food is delicious. Especially the cauliflower was something special, I wish I could make that at home. My meal was very filling and with a coconut drink it only costed 23 ringgit which is around 5€.

Tasty traditional Indien food - Edit
Been eating here every time I go to penang since my first visit back in 2008, always very tasty food. Last two times I have been a vegan and picking vegan dishes has not been easy, there is plenty tasty vegan options but getting the staff to tell you which they are is the hard part

Cons: Communication can be an issue, Vegan options not easy to identify

Sri Ananda Bahwan - Tanjung Bungah - Edit
This is an omnivorous indian restaurant. I ordered dishes the waiter said were vego and without milk products. There's obviously a leap of faith there.
