Loads of vegan options - Edit
I see this more of a supermarket than a health store perse (as it is now labeled on HC). For a supermarket it's really great. The veggies look really good, they have the option to buy in bulk (meaning you bring your own container or bag). They have great bread options, with sourdough and whole grain.
Read moreBut the best of all they stock all kinds of vegan wants. I brought home a black garlic cashew cheese but they have violife, yogurt, oat milk etc etc. And not to expensive either. I do not really get the 3-star review with so many vegan stuff to choose from
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Some stuff you can't find anywhere else
Cons: Bring a jacket as it is ice-cold inside

Sprouts - Edit
Not much to say here except that the produce doesn’t last very long at all. Last 4-5 times I’ve bought produce it’s gone bad after 2 days. Sometimes overnight

Glad to see a store like this in Norman! - Edit
Hi y'all... For many years Norman has not had a lot to offer in the way of fresh, healthy food. Even the nicer grocery stores sold what a foodie would consider almost-dead produce. And organic products? Yeah, right.
Read moreSo what's a visiting veg supposed to eat, right? Well, Sprouts joins the ever-growing healthy food stores here, along with Natural Grocer's Organic Produce, also on Main, and the venerable Earth on Flood Street.
Prices are reasonable and there is quite a variety of products on offer. Not all are organic, and like WFM, there is a mix of organic and "natural" product lines from mainstream companies. Shop with an open eye, but still and all... lots to find here, including plenty of alternatives to meat and dairy and soy. Nice nice nice to have options... three, now, in little Norman! We'll have to give OU the credit, won't we? Without the University here, I seriously doubt these places would exist.
It's nice to note, however, that the shoppers I saw each time I went in were a diverse crowd, not at all the typical "oh it's a health food store" types. Folks from quite a spectrum... and the parking lot is so often full! Good signs for long-term stability.
Pros: Nice sized parking lot, Wide variety of products, Prices are not bad... moderate
Cons: Be sharp-- organic mixed with convention
