Saved me from struggling through mandatory quarantine - Edit
Great food for a great price, and delivered weekly with a changing menu so you never get bored. Perfectly portioned and easy to reheat. The staff is quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Their vegan meatball sub is one of my favorites! Some of the food has a similar base flavor which should be improved upon, but other than that I love ordering from them!

I am not a "meal plan" type person, so never really looked at Sprout as an option. I thought meals would be boring and bland. I was wrong. Cookies and brownie were totally legit and can compete with vegan bakeries in Seoul.
Read moreAll the hot dishes were well spiced and easy to reheat. The salads and desserts were all good, better than I expected. Hummus was very good.
Portions were just enough. This is really a great option for busy people, students, or just people with small kitchens.
Honestly, if they were a restaurant with sit down dining then I would go. Everything I had would clearly have been even better if served fresh from kitchen.
Prices are also very good.

I moved to Seoul in May 2020 and I first discovered Sprout while in quarantine. What a lifesaver! It really got me through those first few months of learning how to be vegan in Korea. Great value and variety! Nothing like having peace of mind knowing I’m going to eat well when I don’t have time to cook!

Flavorful with Areas of Improvement - Edit
The majority of the food tastes so delicious! I've been ordering from them on and off for years. However, lately I've noticed that if you look closely at the spinach in the salads, it still has dirt on it. Spinach in Korea is sold ridiculously dirty, so it makes sense that they are struggling to clean it. I usually rinse spinach from the store at least three times including putting it in a bath of vinegar and baking soda for a few minutes. I hope they can improve how well they wash their spinach. In the mean time, I'm rinsing it and heating up the salads to make sure to kill the bacteria. I've also gotten a few hairs in my food (too short to be mine), so they must not be wearing hair nets or tying their hair back. Still, I love a lot about this company including their commitment to sustainability and recycling. I'll continue ordering from them, but I'll take a break for awhile first.

I order meal plans from Sprout quite frequently and am always happy with their food. I also recently found out that you can send back all of their plastic containers for them to reuse which is amazing! I was concerned about all the plastic, but now I just always make sure to wash the containers and send them back! Definitely recommend if you have a busy schedule but are trying to stay healthy.

I love Sprout. You can order in advance and pick up on Sunday or Monday from 6-8PM. You can also have your items delivered. You can also just go to the shop and order some goodies. They have a great selection of entrees, snacks, salads, and desserts. You can even order a weekly meal plan. That would be nice for someone vacationing in Seoul. The menu is rotated weekly. The owners are super friendly and welcoming.
