Serves meat, vegan options available. Has a separate vegetarian menu with many vegan options. Uses no MSG. Opened in 1978. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:30pm, Tue-Sun 4:00pm-9:00pm.
Spring Roll has an entire menu of vegan items. Whatever you have been Chinese take-out you've been craving, they've got it vegan. If you're a vegan who's used to eating at restaurants with only two or three vegan options, you will be overwhelmed by choice.
I wasn't feeling adventurous enough to try the "vegetarian filet" (though I thought a lot about getting the Vegetarian filet in Lemon Sauce). Noodles were delish. Rice was delish. Spring rolls were yum!
The meat-eaters with me were a little disappointed (constantly comparing it to their usual Chinse take-out place), but said they enjoyed it.
Went to pick up my birthday lunch there today. I'm vegetarian when I eat out (just cause it's hard to find vegan options) and vegan when I make my own meals. I ordered from the vegetarian Menu and got eggplant in black bean sauce and deluxe chow mein. I asked the owner which on their menu are their vegan options, he might have misunderstood me because he said all vegetarian dishes they have are all vegan. I asked if it contained egg, like their egg noodles for the chow mein and he said there are no eggs. Chow mein was delicious, fake meat looked real! Eggplant in black bean sauce was salty. Wished they had it separately, and it would been up to me to put it together when it was ready to eat.
This place used to be my favourite restaurant. The owners are so friendly. The food is pretty salty but good. We love the eggplant in black bean sauce and the wonton soup. The only downfall is the restaurant is due for a bit of a cleaning and we had a button in our meal, oops!

Great Vegan Option for a small place - Edit
They have a full veggie menu and non-veggie menu with most options being vegan.
Read moreFood is excellent and affordable.
They have a limited selection of beverages and very limited number and selection of beers. We finsihed their whole stock with 10 people.
The atmosphere is asian themed but boring and leaves something to be desired.
The wide selection of vegg friendly food makes my partner and I come again and again.
Pros: excellent food, good prices, happy staff
Cons: empty, no atmosphere, lack of beverage
