Great Food and Prices - Edit
Quaint vegan shop nestled in the ever-busy Chinatown area. The baos are amazing. I can’t wait to try all of the other options.

A humble Cafe for all vegans - Edit
Great food and lots of choices. 6 burgers to choose from, with or without a combo of Hibiscus tea and fries. 5 bao buns to choose from when you just want a snack. All are now also served combo style as like the burgers. They also have 3 sandwiches and salads to try out one day. The Ube sandwich is amazing. The vegan chicken bao bun is also great and only $3. Get the Hibiscus tea sweetened with agave. I'm definitely going back for more here in China town.

Amazing Vegan Junk Food - Edit
Absolutely amazing vegan junk food. I typically try to keep my diet pretty clean but every now and then we all have that craving for a fried vegan chicken sandwich, and this is definitely the place you should go to if that happens. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Vegan Burger, which is basically a fried vegan chicken sandwich with agave mustard. This is not a Vegan Asian cuisine, this is vegan American fast food burgers and fried chicken and sides. Absolutely amazing!

Best Cheap, Vegan, Asian Food! - Edit
On the corner of Canal and Centre, is this all-vegan hole-in-the-wall/gem! It’s a small cafe that serves vegan versions of Asian classics, including their now famous bao buns. They are super affordable and are HUGE. $3 for one and then only $5.50 for two?! You can’t go wrong.
Read moreI got the braised tofu skin and vegan ginger chicken bao buns. The quality despite them being so cheap is phenomenal. The ginger chicken tasted like your traditional ginger chicken, and all the flavors in and out of that braised tofu skin speaks louder than words. The sauce and the peanuts on top made that bao.
I need to come back to try more of the baos, their drinks, and other vegan Asian options. Go by 153D Centre St. today! 🌱 🇨🇳 💕
Pros: Super cheap, Fresh ingredients, Kind staff
Cons: Small area

Chinatown fast food - Edit
This is located in the heart of Chinatown, though the food is mostly not Chinese--but is all vegan. The place is very small, with a few stools to sit on. You order and pick up food at the counter. The food is not super-healthy (though certainly much healthier than non-vegan places). The layout is not elegant, there are no bathrooms--for dining in Chinatown, a better bet nearby would be Luanne's Wild Ginger or (if you like faux meats) Buddha Bodhai. But for a quick, cheap, tasty bite in a hurry, this place is nice.

Cheap, clean, and tasty! - Edit
A hidden gem in the middle of China Town, escape from the hustle and bustle with delicious vegan burgers, sandwiches and bao buns. I tried the Hawaiian burger combo that came with fries and iced tea - the vegan chicken was perfectly crispy and the agave mustard sauce had a subtle sweetness that really brought the burger together. The fries were piping hot and also really crispy. I also tried the braised tofu skin and ginger vegan chicken baos - I preferred the ginger vegan chicken as it has a really tasty crushed ginger and spring onion sauce that reminded me of the taste of Hainanese chicken rice. To top it off I had a kale smoothie that was lightly sweet, not too heavy, and refreshing. All of that food for $24 (not including tip) - absolute bargain! Worth a try the next time you are in China Town.
