This has been our go to place for ten years! - Edit
Just adding a review now that they are rocking it with their takeout menu these days. Love the variety on the menu. The sandwiches and salads are always superb. Okay and the desserts and appetizers — and entrees, which are typically huge!

Great food! - Edit
Really good tasting all vegan restaurant in new hope. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the restaurant as well. I just wish they would change their restaurant offerings seasonally or something because we have been here twice and feel like we can’t return since we tried everything already... their menu isn’t huge for dinner.

Good news -- the menu changes regularly! Some of the staples are always on there, but a lot of the menu is seasonal and there are updates regularly. :)

100% vegan menu! Delicious brunch! The fried fingerlings were amazing! Buffalo tempeh sandwich was great and pancakes a bit greasy, but tasty. It's about time New Hope gets a vegan restaurant!

Kids menu was the cherry on top! - Edit
Came into Sprig&Vine after a nearby restaurant didn’t have a single vegan option. It was so hard to choose what to eat because I wanted everything! The absolute best feeling was that my 5yo son could actually look at a kids menu and pick anything he wanted! We usually have to cross our fingers that there will maybe be one item he can have on a standard kids menu. Also loved that it didn’t just try to mimic a standard kids menu of junk food!

Flawless! UPDATE: Super kid-friendly now! - Edit
Sprig & Vine has become my favorite restaurant, hands down. I have literally never had anything that wasn't perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Even things I generally don't like, I am willing to eat at S&V because I know it'll somehow taste amazing!
Read moreThe best part of Sprig & Vine is the thoughtful kids menu. As a vegan parent, the lack of kids options and kids portions at most vegan restaurants is really frustrating. I love knowing that there is plenty that the kids will definitely eat!
Pros: family friendly, incredible food, plentiful portions, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere
Cons: pay parking lot, definitely need reservations for brunch, not open every day

We met friends who are mostly vegan, and we all were delighted with the selection and quality. In fact, we made a point of driving out of our way to return two days later!

Went on a sunday for brunch- so worth it!
Read moreI wasn't impressed when I came before for dinner, but brunch is much more my style, food wise!
Pros: Donuts were so. good!!!! We got sat early for our 11 am reservation. Breakfast scrambled tofu burrito was really yummy, and came with a salad. My fiance got the tempeh buffalo and it was really good too- had a kick (but I'm sensitive) but still yummy! Coffee was great too!!
Con: It's cold in here! So, be prepared. My feet were freezing by the end, even with coffee.
Pros: Yummy breakfast/lunch and nice amount of options, good coffee, didn't wait to be seated (for reservation)
Cons: COLD COLD COLD!! Bring a blanket lol, Food was so quick it came with our apps!

Fantastic All Around - Edit
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. THIS is the place I take my omnivore friends to if they’re up for it. I visit here whenever I’m in the New Hope area.
Read moreI’ve been here many times and I have never been disappointed with what I’ve ordered. I particularly love the different risottos they put out (seasonal, but usually there’s a risotto). Their desserts are also divine. Give this place a try!!
Also regarding parking - the lot right in front is pay to park, but you can typically find a spot with no problem.
Pros: All V :))), Seasonal menu choices, Friendly staff
Cons: Space feels small on a busy night

Wonderful "tapas" and unique menu - Edit
This is a lovely little spot in the heart of New Hope, with a somewhat small but intriguing menu including several season delights. I went with a group and we ordered practically everything on the menu -- and everybody liked everything (I was the only vegan in the group) and ate everything until the plates were bare. You can BYOB. The service is a bit on the hipster side, whether that's your thing or not. The cinnamon plum tea was to die for! Highly recommend, you'll have more than enough options to choose from. Also note Peddler's Village parking is generally free after 9pm so may be worth scheduling a later reservation to save a few bucks.

Great food, kids menu a plus. - Edit
I've been eating here for years. It is my favorite vegan restaurant in the tri-state area outside of NYC. It's great because they have a kids menu if you ask, which is pretty rare for vegan restaurants. My son says their pancakes are way better than mine lol. The only thing I will say, it seems the past few years they're dialing it in a bit. Still great but I think the menu used to be more creative, especially after they raised the prices it is a bit disappointing.

Rude, Overpriced, Kinda Gross, Not Family-Friendly - Edit
My sister's significant other made reservations two weeks in advance for a party of 16. Despite being advised of it being a birthday celebration, they refused to allow us to bring a vegan birthday cake with us and said that they would make an "exception" for us but charge us $4 a plate to SERVE THE CAKE THAT WE BROUGHT, despite all of us purchasing entrees. Ignoring the fact that this adds up to quite a bit extra for a party of about 16 people, it's just plain unconscionable no matter what. Outside of this particular aspect of our visit, we got off to a terrible start when it took a good 15 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge us upon arrival. When we were finally seated, our party was separated into two tables. After asking both the waitress and the hostess if it was possible to put our reserved party together, some of our guests were afraid to impose and be treated any worse so we remained two separate, distanced tables. Then there was the wait. Other guests who arrived after us ate their food and left LONG before we got to taste our meals. At least two of the five entrees offered contained mushrooms. I requested one of them without mushrooms and was told that it was premade (hello, not made fresh yet at the price an omnivore would pay for prime rib) and could not have it without. When our food came out, mine was served to my friend who didn't realize the mistake and began eating it. None of the meals were distinguishable, so it was not an easy mistake for a diner to spot. My niece ordered the jasmine rice cakes, which tasted good upon first bite but were a total culinary faux-pas to be spotted by even the most inexperienced of chefs because the texture was SO soggy and mushy and there was nothing to counterbalance it. In summary - we have eaten at this place several times. Each time the food gets worse, and the service always kind of sucked but this time it really took the cake - literally. The only thing that I enjoyed was the company (at least those who got to sit at the head table) and the almond iced chai.

I don't know of any restaurants who serve desserts who let you bring in your own cake? Sprig & Vine has incredible desserts, so that's really baffling to me!

Highly Recommend! - Edit
First time going out to eat as a vegan and what great place to start! The atmosphere was very nice and the decor was naturally chic. The wait staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the cuisine. The best part is the FOOD! The chef is an artist, not just with plate design but with taste palate. Everything went so well together. My husband, who is former meat & potatoes guy, said this place sealed the deal in staying vegan.

Local, Flavorful, Fun - Edit
On a recent trip to New Hope, I researched vegan restaurants and was very happy to find the Sprig & Vine and excited to see their support for sourcing local, sustainable produce. I had the Eggplant and Black Lentil curry, the Oyster Mushroom appetizer and the strawberry rhubarb tart for dessert. All were very fresh and flavorful and the service was courteous and prompt. I am also really happy that their take-out containers are compostable and when I asked for no straw in my Beet Lemonade, no straw was brought. I will definitely be eating there on my next trip to the area. This is not really a "con" so I will just add it here, the dishes are quite mild in "heat" so some people may like to ask for hot sauce or extra "heat".

I can't get enough - Edit
I wish this place had longer hours because it's so hard for me to get there after work. I have never had anything less than delicious from this place and puts non-vegan restaurants to shame. The only downside is the price tag for the portion sizes and the fact that all other food is sub par, comparatively.

I absolutely love this place! Food is amazing, I love how they don't use over-processed meat substitutes and stick to whole delicious foods. Their deserts are incredible. Only problem, I feel like whenever I go I always have to ask for more water. But that is more of a service issue. Check it out! So yummy

A staple restaurant!! - Edit
My family and I love this place. I am vegan but the rest of my family is not- yet it maintains being a family favorite. I went here for my birthday dinner and was such a treat. Their soups are always fresh and beautifully presented. Their desserts never fail either. My favorite meal to get here is lunch because of their amazing sandwiches. The portions are quite big though so it's a good place to go with another hungry veggie lover!
