What a terrible experience. Spoonline Bistro in Girdwood is by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in all of Alaska. The food is not worth even half the prices listed on the menu, staff and female owner are shockingly rude, ill-intenioned and insulting to customers. The entire vibe is very unfriendly, unorganized and chaotic. The servers were openly bickering with each other and with customers. Aweful. The place was a mess, very dirty for an establishment charging these kinds of prices. I ordered the steak and it was way too overcooked. And everything else on the plates was way too undercooked. To make matters worse, there was hair in my food and a dead bug stuck to the side of my plate. Gross and of course unappetizing. Nobody who works here seems to care about anybody or anything but themselves. They certainly don't put any effort into attempting to serve good food and provide good customer service. This place is likely to be shut down soon for multiple violations - if they don't run off all of their customers first with their F- rated service. Highly recommend you and anyone you care about to stay far, far away from Spoonline Bistro in Girdwood, Alaska. Go anywhere else but here.
