Great location, nice selection - Edit
It's a really lovely location by the water, outside seating only but undercover. The samosas were a bit oily but were nice and I got the eggplant curry which was also nice just different from what I was expecting (was coconut based rather than like a tomato base). I think this is a nice spot if you are in the area, and the prices are a lot better than other options I looked at! Overalli i would give it a 3.5 stars.

The veg platter was very nice. A variety of textures, flavors and mouth feel. Price May seem on the high side but location location location… the mango lassi had a hint of cardamom that was lovely.

We were in the city so we got on happy cow to check what was around. We decided to check out Spiced. The eggplant masala is to die for and the vegetable madras is also quite good.

Lovely food and a nice location - Edit
We recently had a small Christmas celebration here and the food was great! There were a few vegan options available with a couple of options for entree, main etc. The eggplant masala was very delicious as were the onion bhajis. They didn’t have any vegan breads which was a bummer, but that’s too bad. The staff were friendly and attentive and even accommodated us later in the night to move away from the rain.

Good food, 4 vegan main course options - Edit
There are 4 vegan main course options which are all tasty. We had three dishes among us with three orders of rice and nothing else. It cost $65. Worth it as very good. I recommend the eggplant. :)

A number of vegan choices. Staff appeared to be knowledgeable and able to explain what was/wasn’t vegan. The flavours were very good. There are a number of curries to choose from.

Great food, double check ‘vegan’ items - Edit
I’ll preface this review by saying that I’ve eaten here a number of times and I really love it. It’s a lovely setting by the water, the staff are super friendly and helpful and the food I’ve eaten has been great.
Read moreHowever, there are a few items on the menu that are incorrectly labelled as ‘vegan’ that are definitely not, most notably a lamb dish and another dish that contains some sort of cheese. Its made me wonder whether other dishes labelled ‘vegan’ are actually vegan or not. Its not a problem for me as I usually order the same dishes that I know are definitely vegan, but for people who are unsure or who don’t read the full menu description, they might be caught out.
Overall, it’s a great place and I would recommend going here, just be weary of the menu and make sure you know what you’re ordering
