Delicious authentic Indian - Edit
We went out for dinner at Spice Delight last week when we were visiting Halifax for a few nights. The restaurant makes delicious, home cooked Indian food and the vibe of the restaurant is very friendly and lovely to be in. They have a section of the menu dedicated to vegan options so ordering is extremely easy. I am allergic to dairy and when I informed the staff they took it very seriously and a manager was sent over to the table. He went through all of the items I was ordering and made sure that as they were vegan they not come into contact with any dairy. It’s rare that I’ve had a restaurant respond so seriously to me saying I have an allergy and this was greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend going if you’re in Halifax!

A good takeaway option with lots of choice - also uses veg such as chickpeas and cauliflower instead of fake vegan ‘chicken’ which is a nice change.

Read moreWe had a lovely family meal at Spice Delight. Dishes were very tasty, reasonably priced, and the courses brought to the table at a good pace. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant, whilst not 'fancy', was clean and comfortable. There are around four vegan options for starters and the same for mains (sorry, didn't notice desserts), representing a good range of options.
Pros: Lovely food, Friendly, Very central in the town
Cons: Not everything comes as a vegan option, Could be more options for vegan bread and rice
