THE BEST LENTIL BURGER in St. Thomas, USVI - Edit
I was searching for vegan options in St. Thomas, and found Speedy Redemption. They are best known for their burgers. A local friend of Speedy Redemption, who opened her vegan restaurant after Speedy Redemption (The Pressure Spot), mentioned Speedy Redemption started selling their burgers in a food truck and that their burgers are known for being very delicious. She was not lying, because the burger was juicy and filling. I ate the entire burger, after thinking I wouldn't be able to finish it. They also sell delicious fresh juices. However, it's a small location so be prepared to eat order and find a seat outside of the restaurant, or take it back to the boat, beach or hotel, if you are visiting St. Thomas, USVI. Make sure to call before arriving. They were closed on Saturday and Sunday when we visited St. Thomas July 17-July 23, 2023.

We went around 3 pm and they didn’t have much of their menu left so we got a sandwich which sounds boring but it was delicious! It had fried plantains and some sort of veggie Patty.

Luckily we did not spend to long looking for this place as we were actually getting back on the ship but google maps was taking us a whole other direction, just note the address is not as on google, it is in the Crown Bay Centre, address on the door in images posted.
Read moreNow for the food.. wow, this place is good !! Not much food left when we got there which was about 2pm but did manage to get a lentil burger (locals say sandwich) which was so tasty, way better than we expected, highly recommend. We also got a small box (which is far from small) of the Wednesday lunch meal, all days on images posted. Food was so flavourful and authentic. All fresh and unprocessed. Ladies were lovely and fixed up what they could for us based on not having a lot left. Berry blast drink was nice, quite like a fruit punch soft drink.
We noticed the place closed when we left for the ship at 3pm even though opening times showed until 8pm so would appear they sell up and close, if you want to eat here be fast as the food is amazing and clearly goes fast, you wont be disappointed.

We spent 2 hours looking for it, asking locals and calling for directions. They moved to the cruise ship port right near the airport. I have submitted this address change to Happy Cow.

Take out only. Very small area. Best bet is to order ahead and pickup.
Great place to hit first thing when you get to the island by plane or cruise.

Pleasantly surprised & delighted to 100% vegan restaurant in the shops at the Crown Bay cruise port terminal during recent visit to St. Thomas, USVI. Delicious Caribbean dining. Freshly prepared, well seasoned, good sized portions, very reasonable prices. My sampler included tasty, moist lentil loaf, tender mixed greens, pigeon peas & brown rice, creamy Mac & cheese, potato salad, & small garden salad in place of Cole slaw at my request. No skimping on true island flavors & seasoning; just right! Less than $20.

Small, take out only as no indoor seating, yet benches just outside. Cool views on the pier, watching the ships & boats, planes to/from airport, & the iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks. People watching much less enjoyable since most were trying to get selfies with the iguanas.
Definitely worth a trip to this pier from wherever your St. Thomas visit takes you. Highly recommend.

A must when on St. Thomas! I’d have to hop over from STX for work from time to time and I was so psyched to find them in the fortress mall. The first time I experienced this deliciousness was at reggae on the ruins in STJ and it was seriously the best Ital plate ever. I will always eat here when on island.

I flew in from NY to visit family, I went through airport craziness, got a rental car, called my cousin and aunt and said meet me at speedy. That is how good they are. First stop on the American paradise. The special of the day is always delicious and plentiful. The veggie burger is like nothing I’ve had anywhere.

Best Vital Vegan Food on St. Thomas - Edit
These beautiful souls took amazing care of me post hurricane. Their menu changes daily, and has more than just raw food !! The vegan plates are delicious and you get alot of food for the money (usually a vegan protein like seitan, a grain and a veggie or green). Call in your order, as there really isn't a place to sit, and it's VERY busy and popular at lunch time.
