I got the Autumn bowl vegan style, a London Fog with oatmilk and some baked goodies. All of it was gluten free as well as vegan. Menu is very clearly marked with what is gluten free, vegetarian, vegan.

The vegetarian and vegan items are clearly marked. They use tofu to provide an option in pretty much every category so that's cool. They have almond and oat for the drinks. I got the breakfast bowl, which was okay. Not a whole lot of flavor, pretty small for the price, but it was okay. I'd come back again to try the rest of the options on the menu.

Great vegan options - Edit
Speckled Hen serves meat, vegetarian and vegan food. The vegan options (yes many more than one) are delicious. We went twice while staying in the area and tried many different options. They were all delicious!!! Food comes out quickly. I will come back to this restaurant again.

My family went here two breakfasts in a row while visiting the area recently, and I could have gone everyday for a week. We tried the breakfast burrito, vegan egg toast, and vegan egg sandwich. All three options were great. The burrito was probably the tastiest, but the "egg salad" toast was more unique. If I had stayed longer, I would have tried out the vegan breakfast bowl.
Read moreThey had multiple non-dairy milks to go with coffee. We also got a tahini chocolate bar to go. To quote my dad, "it's hard to believe that was vegan."
We were a larger party and it was easy to get indoor seating and there was also outdoor seating for nice weather.

Vegan Options Increasing! - Edit
We’ve had their food a few times and I’m glad to see that each time we visit family in Strasburg, their vegan offerings are growing to more options!! The staff could still be more careful (we’ve had to have things remade), these burritos were really good though and they seemed more confident that they made it correctly!!! Maybe something changed when they added the word ‘vegan’ to the menu…

Ordered the vegan egg salad toast and the vegan egg breakfast sandwich. Both were good, however, the vegan egg salad was beyond amazing. You’d never know it was tofu! It was busy but worth it.

This was a great breakfast spot! They have a few options on the menu and they're all marked which is nice. I got the beet hummus toast with a side of breakfast potatoes. Both were delicious! Good smoothies and coffee too

Went on a Saturday got the vegan burrito and a coffee. Both were great. The the burrito was a little dry but they give you salsa on the side. Has at least 4 vegan options and 7-8 vegetarian options.

Friendly staff. Menu is clearly marked with a good variety of vegetarian and vegan items. We had the peach apricot smoothie and it was fantastic, made from 100% fruit. We can't wait to go back.

Great coffee shop, a variety of drinks and the vegan Reuben was delicious. Has a lot of outdoor seating, and extra space around back. A great place to eat at and be socially distant.
