Fabulous

This restaurant has several vegan options. The laksa mentioned by other reviewers is no longer available.
We had the Pho and the sweet chilli tofu.
The Pho was tasty, fragrant, with delicious mushrooms and lots of veggies. It had a large tofu, deep fried. Some yummy thick glutinous noodles! Delicious!!!
The tofu was served with a sticky rice, it was mild and also delicious. This was a very small dish, but we were full as we shared both dishes and the Pho was huge.
Definitely worth a second visit from us,if we had time!!!

Pros: Friendly staff, Several vegan options

Lacklustre laksa

We ordered some take away to enjoy with the sunset. Gado gado was the star and full of flavour. The vegan laksa was mostly noodles and coconut milk. It needed some chilli oil. The root vegetable fries did not translate well in a take away form. Japanese curry was ok.

Pros: Lovely staff, Vegan choices, Environmental awareness- packaging

Cons: Not great as take away, Laksa sadness

Great accidental find

We happened upon this place by accident (it’s part of the Reef Casino complex but at the back on a quieter street). Pleased to find it has a few vegan options and very vegan savvy staff. We had tofu laksa, fried rice and wasabi peas. Total bill for food and two alcoholic drinks was less than $55 which we felt was good value. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful and it was a lovely spot to have a bite.

Pros: Nice quiet spot, Vegan savvy staff, Food was delicious

Cons: More vegan options always welcome
