Delicious vegan options - Edit
I love that they have a section in the menu for vegan options. Not common in Vero Beach. I had a delicious grilled cauliflower with brussel sprouts and vegan mashed potatoes.

Wow! Amazing vegan options on menu! - Edit
I had the veggie rice bowl with tofu. Tofu was crispy and there were tons of veggies. The most important thing was the flavors. They sauce was well balanced, slightly spicy and amazing! We had bourbon Brussels for app that were yummy. I would go back in a heartbeat, but I live in Maine! My portion was very large. There was even a vegan cheesecake for dessert but I was too stuffed! Don’t miss this place. My husband is a pescatarian and he had an arugula beet salad with blackened snapper that was delicious he said.

Go somewhere else - Edit
We were appreciative of a regular restaurant having some vegan options (a bbq place no less). Unfortunately it really missed the mark. We tried three vegan entrees: the burger was average and we ordered the bam sauce on the side but neither burger came with any, the rice bowl lacked any vegetables and didn’t come with the onions that were advertised on the menu, and the pesto gnocchi. Out of the three the best by far was the gnocchi, comes with Brussels and green beans which were also good. Pesto was average. We ordered a beet salad thinking it would be vegan, bc the website description didn’t mention cheese. It came with a huge burrata on top of it. Everything else we ordered was vegan including a special vegan dessert, you would think they’d ask about us ordering the thing with cheese. The salad had like a quarter of a beet, only a few slices. Pretty disappointed overall and way overpriced. Two thumbs down. I hope they can improve their vegan options.

Vegan options - Edit
It’s so refreshing to find a place that has real vegan options instead of just modifying other items on the menu, not to mention it was delicious. I will definitely be returning for the food and the pear margaritas!

Great Food - Edit
Had to order for a BBQ to bring our own food. Called ahead to order. To start we each had Black eyed pea Hummus served with pita and crudite. Tasted great. Similar to refried beans.
Read moreEntree we had the roasted cauliflower with arugula and the vegan meatloaf. The cauliflower was smoky with a wonderful BBQ light sauce. The meat loaf looked like a steak and we were afraid to eat it. We were assured it was vegan. It was a seitan gluten product that tasted good but when you don't eat meat, this was too much like to meat. Flavor was great.
Staff was off the chart friendly and helpful. Atmosphere beautiful and a line to get in. They serve meat so you can bring non vegans.
Really good place. Will return.
Pros: Great flavors, Amazing staff, Great atmosphere
Cons: Not in my home town! I wish it was!

Surprisingly good for dietary restrictions - Edit
Designations on the menu for Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free. Entire section for Vegetarian and Vegan with a half dozen delicious sounding entrees. The mushroom dumplings were awesome, and the meatloaf pretty good (bit of an odd texture). Great cocktail menu too. Only real complaint was that I don't think they had much that was vegan and gluten-free, but would absolutely go back - still a couple dishes I would love to try

Vegan feast in Vero! - Edit
I was born and raised in Vero but haven’t lived here in years. This place is incredible! We went and had an awesome vegan feast since all vegan items are clearly marked. Appetizers of field pea hummus and veggies was light and delicious. We had 3 jalapeño corn muffins and vegan butter. For our entrees we shared everything: 1. Smoked cauliflower steak with a pistachio crust & Brussels sprouts and potatoes. This was our hands down favorite item. It was huge and well seasoned. 2. Veggie fried rice- a close second. Again a large portion and well seasoned. 3. The mushrooms and dumplings- this was our least favorite dish. It needed more pepper, which is an easy fix, but it did have a tangy after taste. They also prepared an extra vegan side of Brussels sprouts too. For dessert we had the s’mores brownie. It was delicious. My only complaint is that the brownie is served cold. It should be hot. Maybe next time we will ask for that!

Good vegan menu for Vero - Edit
I had the mushroom dumplings in cashew cheese and my friend had the roasted cauliflower with red potatoes and Brussel Sprouts with mushroom gravy. Both meals were pretty good. In a town with no Vegan restaurants and few with vegan menu items it’s worth trying once in awhile. But a bit pricey for what you get and Ive had better cashew cheese at other vegan restaurants.

I'd happily give this 5 starts if I could. - Edit
There were 3 in our party, included 1 vegan and 1 mostly vegan pescatarian, and we all raved about our meals. The best restaurant food we'd had in a long time. The staff was great too.

Quite Good - Edit
There were about four or five vegan dishes on the menu the night we were there. I got the potato dumplings in a cashew cream sauce which were very good - quite rich and very filling I took about half of them home. My husband got the Beyond Burger which was also excellent. The real winner of the night was the vegan jalapeno corn muffins: they were quite crumbly but probably the best tasting muffins I've had in years. I also had the vegan dessert option, a marshmallow smores brownie, which was good although the brownie was a little hard for my taste (although my husband says I'm extra picky about brownies).
Read moreOne odd note is that we visited the restaurant at about 6:30 on a Sunday. Since we didn't have a reservation the hostess initially told me us it would be a 30-35 minute wait. But five minutes later we were seated and the restaurant was very empty (although it did fill up very quickly starting at about 8:00).
Pros: Several vegan options, really tasty food, knowledgeable and friendly staff
Cons: Reservations are probably a good idea

Very Accommodating - Edit
Adorable rustic ambiance, clearly marked vegan options on the menu, and the best cocktails I've ever had. What more could you want?? One of the owners is vegan, and everyone from the waiters to the bartenders was more than happy to answer all of my questions. The bar tenders were happy to swap out the liquor in the drinks I wanted for ones that were listed on Barnivore, and similarly to swap out honey for agave. I had the black eyed pea hummus, which was unique and spicy; the Beyond burger, which was cooked perfectly and prepared entirely vegan, including cheese; and they made me sauteed carrots for a side since their listed sides are all made with animal products. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!
