A vegan option in Forks

They are still open, though there is zero signage outside. There are several dishes with tofu on the menu, and an all vegetable dish. They were out of tofu! The fried rice must be made ahead? Because we were told it has egg (no option to make it without). Waitress was super nice and understood vegan. She checked on several dishes as options before we figured out that without tofu the only vegan option left was the all veggie dish. It was delicious. Hopefully they will get tofu in tomorrow as we have a few days in forks!

Best vegan food during my visit to Olympic National Park

I have been struggling to find vegan dishes on my visit to Olympic National Park and arrived at South North Garden with low expectations.
I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress was helpful and accommodating when I told her I was vegan. Although the restaurant does not offer a ton of vegan options, the dishes we got were delicious and left me wanting more. We ordered the monk's curry and assorted vegetable stir fry. The tofu in the monk's curry was the best tofu I have ever had in Chinese food.
The only downside is the speed of the service. The food took a long time to come because the restaurant only has one cook making the food (they did tell everyone it would take time because there were a lot of orders).

Pros: Food, Price , Accommodating for vegans

Cons: Slow meal (took a long time to get food)
