Very friendly, good convenience food - Edit
As we orderd the vegan Bratwurst with a side of fries the waiter told us, that these were not really vegan, because fried in the same fryer as the meat. So no fries. He recommended us the coleslaw. We are very grateful that he cared so much!

Loved our visit - Edit
They have a new menu including vegan tacos, which are amazing 😋 I’m wheat intolerant so it’s great to have an option. All the beers were vegan today bar one, and staff were happy to advise. Atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly . I’d advise to book a table at the weekend. Loved it!

Good vegan bratwurst - Edit
Had the vegan bratwurst with fries and asked for veganaise on the side. It was so good. Generous portion of fries and very friendly staff. Recommend!

Vegan options - Edit
This restaurant still offers the bean burger and the beyond burger. But when we went in, they stated they had an event the night before and ran out of supplies so they couldn't take us in. We couldn't even order take out. We were very disappointed. Their menu stated they have gluten free buns, but I am not sure if they are vegan as we didn't get to order. Food options for vegans are limited in this area so it's a huge disappointment. Ended up going to Raley's grocery store and got supplies to make a microwave dinner at the hotel.

They have vegan dishes. Waiters understand what vegan means. I had the black bean burger which tasted good.

OK in a pinch, but not recommendable - Edit
We agree with the earlier reviewer saying, “they try, but…”
Read moreWhile we’re always grateful when meat-oriented places try to accommodate plant-based diets, to be honest we have to confess it seems this place isn’t particularly vegan-conscious and their few vegan options seem to be an afterthought attempting to cash in on market demand for vegan options without actually doing what it takes to make them enjoyable.
We tried 2 of their 3 vegan options, the Beyond Brat and the Beyond Burger, both customized with the Veganaise and the vegan bun. As others have noted, the vegan bun was very dry and crumbly, and we found the meal was better (less disappointing) without the bun.
The other issue was that while placing our take-out order over the phone, we specified no sauces for the fries, since both the ranch dip (that comes with the regular fries) and the honey-chipotle mayo (that comes with the sweet potato fries) are non-vegan. The gentleman taking our order acknowledged that request, but when we unpacked our takeaway order the non-vegan sauces were there nonetheless.

Crossed with fish - Edit
Got the brat, regular fries and Brussels sprouts, honey is not a deal breaker for me but the batter chunks we found in the mix was. Didn't notice the taste but after eating I burped fish for hrs, gross. Brat and fries came to the table cold, all 3 plates cold. But the fish that was ordered at my table was steaming hot. At 15 a plate I will do so much better at home. Raleys had the brats and the pretzel buns, it's no longer worth going out unless Love is open.

Good job - Edit
We arrived in the restaurant during a power outage (city wide). Initially they needed to send us away because the power outage would take hours. They helped the guests find alternatives for diner. After an hour the power came back and they started accepting customers again. They helped all the customers in a timely manner.

Stick with the Beyond meats - Edit
Service, beer, and fries are good. The black bean burger was really bad. No taste and falls apart. The bun is also tasteless. If I had to go back, I'd try the Beyond brat.

They try but they need to try harder - Edit
Have a beyond burger available with vegenaise and a vegan bun.
Read moreThe problem is that the vegan bun was just terrible. I ate the burger with a fork and knife and left the dry bun on the side.
They also served a Chipotle mayo alongside the sweet potato fries and didn't tell us what it was or that it came with that.
Pros: Has vegan options, Fries are good
Cons: Expensive, Bun was terrible, Served us Chipotle mayo without asking us

ok, but waited too long - Edit
Went here on a random tuesday in may, and we waited for the food for over an hour at our table, which was not very nice. The beyond bratwurst was pretty good and the burger also. Fries were great.

You can’t beat beer and brats! - Edit
Perfect place to come after hiking all day in Yosemite. They have both the beyond burger and brats, as well as a black bean burger. Veganaise available. The best is labeled vegan clearly, the beyond patty can be substituted for any other patty. The regular fries were delicious- super crispy.
