Love the vegan options - Edit
I’ve tried all the vegan options they have and there was just something sort of off about the taste. Im not the biggest fan of hungry planet, especially their chicken. I have tried their veg eggplant Sammie and still wasn’t very impressed.
Read moreHOWEVER I FIGURED IT OUT, ITS THE MAYO. The vegan Mayo is super overpowering and not very tasty at all. Today, I ordered the vegan eggplant sammie without mayo and just with mustard and vinaigrette and whoa game changer.
Immediately impressed with the taste and will be ordering it this way in the future.
If you don’t like the vegan chicken, I would try replacing it with the crispy eggplant ❤️ I would love if they decide to add tofurky in the future or another form of vegan chicken.
Pros: Separate vegan menu , Vegan cheese and condiments, Big sandwiches.. more bang for your buck
Cons: Vegan Mayo is not tasty , Only veg chicken or eggplant as protein choices

Hits all the spots!! - Edit
I was so surprised to see a vegan section on the menu. They have 3 or 4 vegan sandwiches, 3 of which are made with Hungry Planet Chik'n, and one made with eggplant and other veggies. I got the Tall Dark and Vegan, and it was really tasty and exactly what I was hoping to get from this iconic sandwich shop. I didn't think there was too much or too little of everything. It wasn't dry, it was actually a bit oily but not terribly. This is definitely something a vegan or meat eater would enjoy equally. If anything, it would be nice to have one tofu option on the menu. I'll definitely be back to try the rest!

Decent - Edit
Had a tall, dark and vegan on sourdough. I like that they’re pressed sandwiches and use Hungry Planet, as they’re my favorite vegan meat company. However, the sandwiches don’t come with any sides which is a minus. Also was a bit overloaded with sauce which drowned out the other flavors. I’d visit again just to try the other options, but I feel like they could step it up a bit.
