Delicious!

Located in the center of Maastricht. Incredibly friendly staff, the chef even introduced himself to us! Also the waiter was very kind and polite. The food? Amazing! Both my mom (non-veg) and myself (veg) thoroughly enjoyed the food, appreciating every bite. I strongly recommend it for mixed (veg/non-veg) groups. Currently they have a social deal discount.

Would have given 5* if I could, but as it’s not entirely veggie happy cow doesn’t allow me.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Good location

Not really vegan

Very nice man but he had no idea about what vegan is. He wasn't sure about the bread so went and got some pizza bread from the pizza place next door. The ice cream I was served for sure contained milk and gave me stomache cramps. The food was not bad overall.

Pros: Nice man

Cons: Not really vegan

Cozy place with a resident cat

The fella working there was friendly and spoke English. He said there are always at least 2 vegan soups. the margarine was vegan (which was served free along with a bread roll). Nice place to relax near the shopping district. A cat, who I presume was the boss, occasionally made an appearance to check in on things.

Pros: Vegan options, Vegan margarine

Cons: not completely veg

Budget-Friendly and Diverse

Soup Solo is located right opposite to the Law Faculty and close to the other university buildings, which makes it busy during the day-time, which is why it is good that they have take-away options.

The menu changes every week and all the options are always vegan except for few dishes. For €4,50 I got a big bowl of (brussels sprout) soup with a big multigrain bread roll and an apple. Everything was really good and I felt really satisfied for the whole day after the meal!

Pros: Filling and healthy lunch, Atmosphere, The amount of different options
