Serves meat, vegan options available. Small, upscale dinner restaurant in a log cabin. Seasonal menu typically includes one vegan entree as well as one vegetarian one. Day's soup is always vegan.
I had such fond memories of the food here years ago. Of course, I was an omnivore then. I can still say that the beer and wine were high quality and reasonably priced. We also love the owners and the servers. I give them credit for having vegan options, allowing dogs outside and the beautiful setting. However, we would not recommend the Thai curry scallops, the organic mix greens tossed in Asian Shoyu ginger vinaigrette, the noodle bowl, the vegan udon noodle bowl or the shrimp entrée.
#1 Tahoe suggestion for vegan-friendly upscale dining. - Edit
Surprisingly an overall great experience for a fancy vegan dinner at an omnivorous restaurant. Starting with house-made hummus instead of butter for the bread, there is a vegan choice for every course from salad to soup to entree. Super cute location, attentive service.
