Very good and close to ferry! - Edit
Food was fast and affordable, in a great location—we were very hungry coming off ferry. Nice and fresh and healthy. Felt the pad Thai was a little bland, and the curry was great but lacked some depth of flavour. Would definitely go back and am excited to try other dishes! Spring rolls were GREAT.

Tasty food, good price - market experience - Edit
I tend to avoid markets because I’m worried about cross contamination, but this place is stated 100% vegan so I’m pleased I checked it out.
Read moreThe food is 80baht a dish brown rice, so ~£2
My portion was a little small, but I eat a lot.
The green curry is more of a yellow colour and doesn’t taste like any green curry I’ve had before, but it was nice
The fried mixed veg was also more of a coconut soup with veg in
Pros: 100% vegan , Good prices, Market experience
Cons: The descriptions don’t really match the dishes , (But still yum)

Cheap but not so tasty - Edit
For all the reviews I've read on HC I was expecting a little bit more from this restaurant. It is cheaper than other restaurants on the zone, that's true. But neither the size, neither the taste/flavour fulfilled my expectations.
Read moreAt least what we ordered was not as good as it could have been.
Pad Thai was tasteless, seemed that they missed any kind of sauce when cooking it. Massaman curry had lots of giant potatoes and a small amount of curry sauce itself. Furthermore, the taste was nothing to write home about.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Missing taste , Small portions

I eat here often, and I'm very happy that it hasn't closed due to covid! - The food is very good, all cruelty-free, good prices and friendly staff ❤
Read moreEdit: On top of that, I know for sure that the food is organic because I recently visited the farm of the owners, lovely place with a big rice field, lots of vegetables all grown without pesticides and using some permaculture techniques like mixing plants and crops for increased biodiversity. And they have a family of pigs living there that they take care of, and will never end in a slaughterhouse 🐷❤️ By eating their delicious food, you are supporting them too! 😊👍

Uses MSG, most likely without being aware of it. - Edit
I went there several times in 2019 after it was recommended to me as a place who makes great curries, for very cheap. They tasted amazing, no doubt about it. Yet, and I'm not kidding, when I went there with my girlfriend and we had to drive home north of the island after that, we both felt every time like we had smoked something or drunk alcohol (I must mention that our diets were primarily raw fruits & vegetables, so we were fairly sensitive to those kind of things).
Read moreIt happened several times, consistently. So I became skeptical of why it tasted so good and we had those side effects. I had seen the "No MSG" sign, yet I felt like asking the people working there to verify the info. They were very nice people, nothing against them at all.
They said they didn't use any, so I asked them if they had a secret ingredient that they used to make it taste so good. And, nice as they were, they actually showed me a bottle of mushroom sauce that they use for their meals.
I took a picture in my mind of that bottle in particular and later on checked if I could find that specific one in a supermarket, which I did.
Spoiler alert: it DID contain MSG, and a lot of it. It was actually a special edition, and it contained not 0.1% like most other mushroom sauces, but 4.0%. Like a crazy amount. I can actually post the pictures of the bottle here if anyone needs to see it. What I would recommend is if anyone goes there regularly and knows them a bit, that they let them know about it, so they can rectify that.
If they still use that sauce by now...maybe they don't, who knows?
