We are vegans. The salads plus flat bread makes an excellent lunch. Also we love the muffins and the cheesecake. No espresso coffee but we had a plunger. Don't miss this place if you are in Wanaka!
When we asked what was vegan, the chef offered to make us tofu scramble with greens (instead of the scrambled eggs with greens). He used products fresh from the store to cook too. Super lovely food and staff with lots of vegan option, including a cabinet of vegan sweets.
There is not only a store but also little place where you can drink a plunger coffee, have a snack or lunch or eat some dessert. We love this place not only because of delicious desserts but because the atmosphere here as well.
Friendly little cafe with a lovely courtyard - Edit
Serves vegan, vegetarian and meat savoury and sweet options at their cafe. A wide range of organic foods in their shop, although I didn’t look too closely as we were just there for the cafe. My falafel wrap was delicious, and a generous-sized pie with coconut cream for dessert. Full and happy😄
Store has vegan alternatives to dairy products like cheese, yogurt, ice cream & milk as well as vegan mayo, aioli and probably meat substitutes (didn't look for them). Café offers delicious vegan options which are labeled as such. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and seating in-/outdoors (the latter in a beautiful backyard).
Lovely organic store and cafe with calm backyard. Had a vegetarian falafel roll and a fantastic peanut butter smoothie. My boyfriend chose a chicken Pho and with had vegan desert, Blueberry “cheesecake” and a caramel cup. We liked everything although the food portion, chicken Pho, was quite small.
Lovely cafe with seating out the back in the garden. Lots of vegan options on the menu including vegan pancakes. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Wanaka.
So glad to find this place in Wanaka. We had a delicious breakfast of buckwheat pancakes (GF, NF vegan) topped with bananas and some sort of berry compote, with coconut yoghurt on the side. TASTY.
They have a couple other vegan options on the menu, but the pancakes looked like the winner. And were...
The store is great, as well, with lots of organic and vegan and paleo products. We picked up some road snacks, as we were on our way out of town. Otherwise, we would have stocked up our pantry.
Shop is tiny but has the essentials. Good vegan selection. Bought some organic apples, bread, granola, and snacks for our remaining road trip. Awesome that they open 7 days a week with relatively consumer-friendly store hours, which I've learned is not the norm in New Zealand.
Visited in Dec 20009 for lunch. Had quinoa loaf with salad and loved it. Good food, many juices, very large variety on organic food products in their shop. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Although it isn't 100 per cent vegetarian, we felt confident that things marked vegetarian were, and had a good solid brunch with freshly squeezed organic juice. The staff were very friendly, too.

Small health food shop with few vegan items - Edit
They only had one vegan cookie in the cafe, and it was so oily it bled through the paper bag in seconds so we pitched it in the trash vs eating it.
