Street vendor selling sorghum porridge. You'll get a bowl of sorghum porridge with or without sugar (but you have to specify without sugar). Could add other ingredients for extra money like nuts, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut, raisins. Non-vegan ingredients are butter and honey. Take-out only. Open Mon-Sat 4:30am-8:00pm, Sun 6:00am-7:00pm.

Filling, delicious and affordable food! - Edit

Giving this place 4 stars because it’s not 100% vegan. We had to specify no butter. Big porridge bowls with nuts and other toppings.

We pointed to the things we wanted. If you’re not that hungry and are going with someone else, consider splitting a bowl! Very filling. #Veganuary

Cheap and superhealthy breakfast - Edit

This place is easy accessible from the old medina. The base is a sorghum porridge which costs only 1000 Dinars and you can have many add ons: different kind of nuts, raisins and halva.

Pros: Healthy, Cheap, Authentic
