Idyllic & Cozy Getaway - Edit
My only regret is not staying longer! I came here for my birthday weekend and had a relaxing time. This is a wonderful getaway on Whidbey Island with a completely private guest house (studio-style with a bed, comfy couch, dining nook, and fully-equipped kitchen). Lots of movies and books to choose from, too, but likely you'll spend most of your time visiting the friendly sanctuary animals or wandering the spacious property. There is lots of space and privacy, but the hosts are only a phone call away. Breakfast is delicious, all vegan (of course), and hearty. There are snacks and easy to prepare foods as well, and there are two grocery stores nearby if you want to cook in the evenings. One evening they built a bonfire for us and surprised us with vegan s'mores fixings, and at our request Jill kindly also made me a birthday dessert (and wouldn't charge us for it). The weekend was amazing and I hope many people will go visit and experience it first-hand. It is absolutely worth the trip!

I almost don't want to tell you how amazing this was... - Edit
so I can keep it all to myself. But Jill and Dave deserve a heartfelt and public thank you for sharing the beauty of their property and Jill's fantastic cooking skills! I spent a very peaceful week here, ate half my weight in delicious vegan food, wandered the scenic property and visited with the animals. It was glorious and I'm already planning my next stay. You will not be disappointed.

Best weekend ever! - Edit
I wish I could take all the stars from Happy Cow and give them to this place! I dont even know where to begin talking about how good this place is. Jill and her husband are the most welcoming people I have ever met. We had the whole farm all to us for 2 days and they were okay with us walking anywhere we wanted around the farm and petting the animals. The place is just amazing - this is the best animal experience I have ever had. The donkeys, sheep, geese, chickens - we loved everything about the place. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (we cook all our meals at home - out of necessity and habit now). I was happy to see some of the same organic brands that I use at home :) And Jills breakfast is just stellar! Words will not do justice to her cooking. You have to come and spend time here to know how amazing this place is! We are definitely going to come back :)

Amazing Amazing Amazing - Edit
We had the most wonderful time here. Jill and Dave are such a lovely, wonderful, hardworking couple. The farm is huge and so beautiful!
Read moreWe got in really late, we walked into the guesthouse and were so excited. It was gorgeous, with a huge kitchen, a little gas fireplace, comfy bed...when we woke up we found out that there is also a beautiful view from all the windows and that the kitchen is really well stocked.
Every day we woke up and got papered with a huge, delicious breakfast with an amazing baked good (I'm talking about pies, people!).
We got to pet the animals, too. The geese are pretty tough, but the donkeys love to be petted :)
In the evening, we made hot cocoa and snuggled on the super comfy couch.
At first we were a little concerned about where we would eat, but I can assure you that this was the last of our worries. There is a vegetarian cafe not far from this farm, a grocery store, and the kitchen is awesome. The farm is only about an hour and a half from Seattle, too.
We were lucky to be able to chat with Jill and Dave and get to know how wonderful they are. We will definitely be back.
Pros: Beautiful, Delicious, Relaxing
Cons: Crazy geese :P

We LOVED it here!!! - Edit
Someday Farm is a slice of heaven on earth! We absolutely loved our two day stay. What a fantastic property: beautiful trees, an organic garden, pastures for their amazing variety of animal friends...we loved exploring, and meeting all of the critters. It was like the ideal mini-sanctuary. The accommodations are spacious, cozy, and perfect for a couple's getaway. They even include vegan snacks in the full kitchen. We felt like we were 'part' of their gorgeous farm, and didn't want to leave! Breakfast both days was delicious and very filling (like Thanksgiving!) Jill made tasty, home-style dishes that were extremely satisfying. Such a fun place to visit: we fully intend to go back, and highly recommend to vegans and vegetarians who love being out in the country among the animals. Was a perfect 'vegan vacation' destination. Great for a romantic getaway. Next time, we hope to stay for several days! Jill & Dave are awesome hosts, and we enjoyed visiting with them.

Stay here or your life won't be complete. - Edit
Someday Farm proves to be one of the most special places on this planet. I was impressed, grateful, satisfied, relaxed and downright happy, all due to the experience they provided us. It's a priceless escape in a serene and unforgettably picturesque setting.
Read moreAnd the food. My god, the food. Every single bite I took left me swooning with pleasure and reminiscing about it long after it had already been digesting. We'll be recounting memories of muffins, quiche, sticky buns and strawberry cake for quite some time into the future. You can burn off the calories from breakfast (which is worth every last one) by playing with the miniature farm animals and going for a long walk in the beautiful woods.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that everything about Someday Farm is perfect.

A Hidden Gem !!! - Edit
My wife and I stayed on Jill & Dave's vegan farm for the last four days of our honeymoon and it was absolutely the highlight of our trip!
Read moreEven though I'd looked at the website, somehow I had no idea just how amazing this place would be. There is only ONE guest house on this lush, 70 acre property!! And it's just not some funky house. The guest house is a beautiful, craftsman style suite. It has an open floor plan, but has bedroom, living room, bathroom (no shortage of hot water) dining area, and a beautiful kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking utensils AND food!! Also, a variety of teas, coffee etc. The fridge was stocked with goodies (non dairy milks, yogurts, peanut butter, and lots more). In the cabinets are beans, rice, pastas, canned soups and so on. The icing on the cake... Jill's amazing breakfast that she brings to your door each morning!! We cook 7 nights a week at home and my wife is a certified RAW chef so we can say with some authority that Jill's cooking is top notch. Not only is the food fantastic, but it's a LOT of food. We ate half of the breakfast, ate salad for lunch (good produce at the market up the street) and ate the breakfast left overs for dinner.
There are lots of books and magazines around, DVDs, CD's, flat screen TV (no cable), and games to play. The bed is super comfortable as well.
We had a great time playing with the animals and touring around the farm at our leisure. Dave has quite a collection of very old cars that have come to find their final resting place on the farm; we spent hours looking at them and photographing them.
If you want to get out and explore the island there is plenty to see and do. Check out The Earth Sanctuary nearby for an amazing hike through some very lush acreage full of wild life.
Jill and Dave are wonderful hosts; they are just very kind, down to earth people and we had a great time visiting with them and enjoying their farm. I can't wait to return.
Pros: Private House!! , Amazing Food! , 70 acres of retreat space!!
Cons: Not in California

AMAZING!!!! - Edit
I took my girlfriend to Someday Farms B&B for her birthday in May, and it was a better experience than we could've possibly hoped for. Instead of a room, visitors here get an apartment-style space to themselves - there's a full kitchen (stocked full of vegan food for us to use!), full bath, and fireplace. There's also a flat screen tv, wifi, tons of books, magazines, movies, and games to occupy the time.
Read moreAND THEN THERE'S THE FOOD. Jill brought us mind-blowing breakfasts each morning, hand delivered to our door. We had vegan quiche, oven-fresh muffins, fresh fruit, and more - on the first day alone. The second day? Breakfast pasties, prompted by a five-minute conversation with our hosts the previous night. Super-flaky delicious crusts, delicious, and a complete surprise.
The apartment itself is beautiful and cozy space, and feels homey with all the personal touches added by Jill and her husband Dave. It's a great place, and we'll be going back!
Pros: FOOD, location, FOOD
Cons: None!

So great to hear! We got a certificate for 2 nights at Farm Sanctuary silent auction last year, and we're finally going to get to use it in a few weeks. We're so excited to stay at the farm and not have to worry about any of the food.
