This place is phenomenal!
Read moreI was blown away by Somebody People!
We tried the hummus and pita, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and the Rotalini, as well as the complimentary focaccia and the lemon tart for dessert. Everything was even better than we anticipated! I will definitely be back again. Best vegan food I’ve had in Denver!

Highly recommend - Edit
They did a really great job creating dishes that accentuated the flavors of the vegetables. The complementary focaccia was buttery and salty, the tomato dish was full of flavor, and the pastas were fresh and wonderful. Absolutely will be headed back, just be wary it’s on the pricier end, but not crazy: 2 apps, 2 main dishes, 3 drinks, and 1 tiramisu for $110.

I went here with my significant other on Valentines Day and it was amazing. The restaurant and staff were both really nice. The food was amazing, probably some of the best vegan food I've ever had. It's worth the extra money to come for dinner dates and special occasions.

My partner and I recently visited Denver and had dinner here and it was amazing. I love that they focus on making great dishes with plants and not try to replicate a traditional meat and cheese dish. It’s a refreshing take from what most restaurants offer and it’s done exceptionally well. We are looking forward to going back someday in the future. Kudos to the chef

Somebody People is something special! - Edit
Based on the reviews I had read about the food at this place, I had high expectations. It did not disappoint! In fact, it was even better than I anticipated. Because of the current pandemic situation, dine in was not available, so I enjoyed their Mother's Day special on takeout, and it was wonderful. It was worth every nickel I paid to enjoy the exquisite dining experience! My six course special meal included:
Read more-radish salad on house baked rye toast w cashew cream and tarragon
-focaccia w tomato sauce and garlic
-buttersnap peas, spring onion and chillies
-grilled zucchini and beans with calabrian chili, dill and chickpeas
-handmade fennel gnocchi alla collescipolana w ramps and capers
-seasonal berries shortcake
All of the food was packaged for takeout in environmentally responsible compostable boxes.
Each item had a unique flavor, and each was also seasoned to perfection. If you are not familiar with some of their described ingredients or spices, don't be afraid to trust their judgment . The food was neither overly spicy nor bland, and the variety of textures was outstanding. Every item I had was 10/10. I can't wait to try items from their everyday menu, because I'm sure they are equally good. This is now my new benchmark for delicious plant-based dining in Denver. Give them a try.... I'm sure you won't be disappointed either! Yum!!!
Pros: Outstanding food creatively prepared , Friendly vibe, Takeout available

The Best Vegan Resturant I've Ever Been To - Edit
Nothing holds a candle to Somebody People.
Read moreI went there for the first time for Valentines Day with my fiancé where we ordered the 4 course pre fixie meal. At first we where skeptical, some of the food on the menu looked 'too healthy' with plants we've never tried, or didn't think we would like.
I wouldn't consider myself a total junk food vegan, but when I eat out it's my time to treat myself. But wow. They are artists.
Every last thing they served us was incredible, the wine they paired it with became my new favorite, and I had multiple moments where I took a bite and my eyes rolled back with pleasure.
The waitstaff offered the best service I've ever had, being incredibly helpful without hovering, they even refolded my napkin for me when I stepped up to use the restroom. I felt so pampered!
We ordered from them again for to-go and got the 4 course meal and the reunion bread and dips.
The first dish we tried was roasted vegetables which was incredible, ultra flavorful, felt decadent, but yet light. That came with a cauliflower and lentil soup, which I was skeptical of at first. But damn, the flavors in it was incredible. I thought it sounded weired, but it ended up being my favorite dish! (You've got to try it dipped in the bread!) The other dish was called a Rotolo which was a large homemade noodle rolled up with mushroom, spinach, and breadcrumbs- it was amazing. So freaking good!
The reunion bread with dips was also incredible. The baba ghanoush was so smoky, creamy, and a pure delight. Same goes for the hummus and muhammara.
What I love about this place is everything is jaw dropping, everything. The foods I wasn't sure if I would like ended up becoming my favorite.
I like to think of myself as a great cook, but I don't even know where to begin to recreate these master pieces. They have some of the most talented chefs.
Do yourself a favor and order the 4 course meal- I still get joy thinking about it.
Pros: Excellent food, the best food, gourmet food
Cons: It's a higher price point- but worth every penny

Heard this was great, maybe caught it on an off night. Did the tasting menu and that included a hummus pita plate and two very basic pasta dishes. Service and vibe was good though.

Great food, Great staff - Edit
Went here for valentines day and did the preset meal, Loads of different types of food and variety. The bread was salty but in a good way. Everything I ate I was surprised by how good it was. I left very full but ended up paying over 100 dollars after tip, which was a lot. But definitely would do it again. The waiters were extremely attentive and were always available as well as being extremely nice.

You will not be disappointed! - Edit
Somebody People was so wonderful in taking care of our vegan Meetup group! I loved the bright, eclectic decor, and every single dish we tried was absolutely FANTASTIC! I believe they change up their menu quite frequently, so I can’t recommend specific dishes (but if they have the homemade pappardelle, don’t hesitate to try it!). I know you won’t be disappointed with whatever you order. The staff was top notch and very attentive, and I appreciate their mindfulness to sustainability and the environment. I will definitely be coming back again, and again, and again!

Great food, inventive tastes - Edit
We went to Somebody People for dinner last night for my wife’s birthday. To help celebrate, we were served complimentary glasses of champagne. Locally-made hearty bread with olives was also served, very nice. We also had tastings of 3 wines to support our choosing a lovely bottle from the very interesting wine list. We chose the “Feed Me” option for dinner. It’s a prix fixe option of items chosen by the chef and included 4 appetizers and two pasta dishes. It started with warmed olives. These were made at the restaurant and had a distinctive tasty flavor. We then moved on to a sesame seed hummus. To add to the presentation and taste it was dressed with sumac. This was served with pita sections that were warmed. It was delightful! The hummus was lighter in flavor than the usual hummus and the pita was very fresh. We liked it so much we used our spoons to extract every last bit.
Read moreNext was skordalia made with almonds and served with crudities. Topped with marinated fennel slices and Greek pesto, the presentation was excellent. Our wait person recommended mixing all the flavors together and using the crudities to extract the combination of flavors. The fennel slices were a little large and that complicated extracting the dip, but added flavor. Next dish was a warm beet salad. I must admit that beets are my least favorite food. However, I was blown away by the texture and flavors of the combination of red and golden beets. Again, we cleaned the serving dish.
The dishes of pasta were served next. They were our least favorite dishes. The rigatoni pesto was appealing to see, but it was overly salty. Our wait person had said the funghetto had a “little spiciness” because of chili oil. We asked that the chili oil not be used. That request must have been overlooked as my wife had one bite only of it because of the spicy heat, and excessive salt.
Our complimentary birthday dessert was chocolate mousse. It was decadent and rich. The serving was more than enough especially as they added a chocolate chip cookie that was served warm as we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. All in all, it was a delightful evening. We will be back!!
Pros: very fresh ingredients, tasty food, great service
Cons: parking is tough, food is somewhat salty, limited menu

Had the best time here from my phone call to make the reservation, till the moment we left. The staff really made it a nice experience as they are all so fun and kind. But I suppose that’s what you get with like minded vegans😄oh, and the food was so freaking delicious and very clearly crafted with care and attention to fine details. And they played funky music. I could go in but you should just go and see for yourself. YUMmmm
