Best cafe in Btown - Edit
No longer living in Bloomington but when I make my yearly visit I always pop into Soma. Love the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

the vibes, immaculate. the drinks, expansive. the treats, sweet - Edit
there are a couple somas in town, but my favorite one to be in (in terms of atmosphere and working and such) is the one downtown on kirkwood, the underground basement one. i love the decor so so much and i love that you can sit in a basement room plastered with maps and fairy lights and sip your drink, have your pastry, and do your work!
Read morethere are so many drinks, coffee, tea, smoothies, juice and also so many plant milks! and there are always vegan cookie, cake, muffin, and tart options! all around yum

Cool Vibes - Edit
This is an amazing place to hunker down with some work and a nice coffeehouse beverage. Their vegan baked goods are just okay, but their drink options are amazing. They offer vegan smoothies, juices, coffee drinks, and teas. Their drinks are very reasonably priced compared to some other places.

Cons: Baked goods just okay

Cool decor, good coffee - Edit
The decor is cool, and this is downstairs from Laughing Planet, where you can get a good vegan burrito. Then hop on over to the record shop, and you have a whole day without going outside! They have a small selection of baked goods, and the soy milk is good.

Cons: kind of small, seating hard to come by

Awesomeness - Edit
Soma is totally awesome! It's not always easy to get a decent cup of coffee in Bloomington, but Soma has by far the best (fair trade) coffee. With soy milk of course!
