Beans are not vegan. I basically had to reinvent my food. You have to make sure the server is well aware you are vegan and do not want animal products. You can get the mushroom tacos make sure you say no dairy and be specific no cheese no sour cream. I aslo got the salad again be specific.

What's in the beans? I've been going to the one in Santa Clarita for years and they've always said both bean options don't have animal products.

Yeah I don't know anymore in SCV. I feel more and more that people make things complicated and I just want to give them my money and thats not good enough. Maybe they have changed? I don't want to go anywhere that let's me down.

Great option for a meal for everyone - Edit
I've been here twice now while visiting Valencia as it accommodates our family vegan and meat eater alike. The mushroom tacos are my favorite item on the menu, they are $18 for 3. The chili tofu tacos are also good. I do not recommend the tofu salad as it wasn't very hearty and I had to supplement it with my partner's beans. They have delicious salsas and their servers are all very accommodating.
