I go every weekend 😂 - Edit
My husband and I go every weekend for their brunch or dinner. The crab cake Benedict is one of the best vegan brunch items I have ever had. I have been vegan 10 years and have had vegan food in many countries and cities. Soli grill food is very fresh and flavorful. The salads and appetizers for dinner are amazing. My husband loves the ribs. Highly recommend.

All vegan in Evanston - Edit
Nice to have an all vegan brunch option in Evanston. Went had the short rib hash and an omelet. The hash wasn’t very hash like and the two things we got were pretty similar so didn’t end up being great for sharing but were decent. I would not come up from the city to eat here but if I’m in the area I’d consider revisiting.

Edit: I’ve now had both brunch and dinner here. - Edit
I’ll just put this on top of my first review:
Read moreI came in on a Saturday evening for dinner. There were only a few tables with guests. This saddens me, as this is a really good restaurant, with a creative menu, and good food.
I started with the calamari, which was breaded and fried hearts of palm. They were done just right and it was very good. I then got a Caesar’s Salad, which was large and tasty, with thin slices of crusty toast. I had the Scallops and Chorizo for my entree, which was a good portion of grilled mushroom stems and soy chorizo. I finished with tiramisu, which was very good. One of the best I’ve had in a very long while. Pictures included with this update.
My wife and I checked this place out today and they did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our meal. Starting with very good coffee for me and a latte for my wife. I got the short rib hash and my wife got the corned beef hash. Both were very good. My wife actually ordered the short ribs, but preferred mine, so we switched. Very generous portions. We were pleasantly stuffed when we left.
We are looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Great brunch - Edit
Went for brunch with three others, all four dishes were amazing! Lemon tart pancakes, waffles, savory crepe, and corned beef hash. The dishes were unique and literally no critiques on any of the dishes!

4 stars with the potential to be 5 stars - Edit
The food was superb, genuinely homemade, and wonderfully fresh. Despite the outstanding cuisine earning a five-star rating, I deducted one star due to a somewhat disjointed service experience. My water remained unattended throughout the meal, and there was no check-in from the staff. While acknowledging that the restaurant is new, it was a bit disappointing not to have water for a significant part of the meal. Additionally, the food took over 30 minutes to arrive, and only one table received their order during that time. Despite these hiccups, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and look forward to returning for dinner. #Veganuary

Love this spot! - Edit
We stopped here for brunch on our way into the city and left with happy stomachs! The French toast was delicious and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and very accommodating to my pineapple allergy. The inside was beautifully decorated and very cozy. I can’t wait to go back again!

This place is so cute and their food has held up an incredible taste test. I’ve been in for lunch and weekend brunch so far. I very much look forward to trying something else off the menu next time too. Can’t beat those SPF tho 🤤

Great flavors! Looking forward to it hitting its groove! - Edit
Went for brunch. The lemon curd pancakes were fun and flavorful, the short rib hash was flavored swell and had a surprisingly melt in your mouth texture. Bacon side was interesting. The flavor was smoky, but something else. Even the non-faux meat fan spouse enjoyed it.

Pretty spot with tasty food - Edit
The ambiance is very pretty. The food was very slow to come out, but it's a new restaurant, so it could just be growing into their business needs. The wedge salad was really good. The vegan bacon on top was my favorite part of the entire meal. It was sweet and smokey. It makes me want to try the BLT next time. The seasoning on the potatoes and fries was great, but the potatoes were labeled as hashbrowns but seemed more like dinner potatoes. The Ruben was good. The seitan wasn't super flavorful, but the dressing and bread were so good it made up for it. The tres leches was superb. The chocolate cake had rosemary and mint in it, which was a nice twist and added a lot to it. I'm excited to try it again.
