Pure, yummy and healthy!

Healthy, wholesome, and delightfully unique food. Clean unprossessed food for the body and mind. Show up with an open mind to try new things! The people were really interesting and genuine.

Pros: A unique experience

Cons: Cramped seating outdoors

I ate my weight in food here

This was a rather small (by my Texas sized restaurant experiences) cozy little place. I went with two other folks (not vegan) and we all ended up ordering the same dish. Delicious root vegetables, salad (it's hard to find a decent, great tasting, non-boring salad - because EVERYONE likes to give 'the vegan' a salad when eating out and about), a pico de gallo type side, a hummus with spirulina and more. We ordered from the menu, and they do also offer what appeared to be daily specials listed on a chalkboard. There were healthy elixirs and we got the apple/chlorella one...very yummy! They also had a small little bowl on the table with cacao beans and dried apricots. If ever in Paris again, I would definitely go back here. Only downside is it can get quite crowded and you are basically sitting with other people (not at the same table, but rather tables incredibly close together) - so if you're on a date or wanting to have a private conversation it ain't gonna happen here, folks. Lastly, they did have a resident cat, so if you are at all allergic to cats, keep in mind this sweet and docile cat seemed to be sitting everywhere.

Pros: healthy food, helpful/kind waitstaff, delicious

Cons: Small, close together tables, not intimate, Resident cat (for those who suffer from allergies)

Great restaurant for the health conscious

My group came here for lunch. We enjoyed the delicious soups and juices. Lots of great options containing super foods. The only negative was that the place had a slight smell of cat odor.

Pros: Super foods

Cons: Cat smell

Wow, best meal in Paris

Fantastic little place, with a delightful discovery menu that changes frequently. Friendly, fun service, excellent tasting food with all the superfood goodies tastefully worked in throughout. Truly, a meal to enjoy and feel great during and after. And you can buy a lot of the superfood/herbs/plants in the tiny shop tastefully worked in to the decor. Call ahead for reservations to ensure a spot.

Pros: Friendly service, Great set menus, Delicious and hearty soups

Cons: None :)

Your body will thank you!

If you care about what you put in to your body, this place is where it’s at. I go every time I feel under the weather or like I’m getting run down and the food is really like medicine. Not to mention super friendly English speaking (french) staff, bohemian vibe, and daily menus to choose from. Even if you just get a soup you will get lost in the flavours!

Wonderful food and drinks, lovely staff

I had a great experience in this restaurant. The food and drinks were so good and I also like that they use vinegar cleaning the places. The staff was really nice to me.

too spicy

Friendly atmosphere.
Raw vegan dish could have been more exciting and tasty.
I find some food was way too spicy for no reason (especially in this country where many people can't tolerate spicy food.)

I am also not a super food fun and prefer just a fresh veg and fruits cooked and presented in an artistic way.

Pros: all vegan , cute atmosphere

Cons: too spicy, lots of "super food"

Superb!

What a lovely place. Friendly staff and superb food. I ate here in the evening and had a soup, rich with grains, seeds and vegetables. I also had a dessert of three small cakes, including carrot. If I lived in Paris I would be a regular here.

Delicious food and nice staff

Menu consists of plate of day - regular or raw and/or soup of the day. I had the plate of the day which is a mix of salads and superfoods and absolutely phenomenal. They also have delicious teas. Staff is really nice and knowledgable.

Pros: Nice staff, Delicious food, Warm atmosphere

Nice colors in your plate.

You can get a tasty array of ingredients in your plate. I got all essential amino acids with rice legumes.

You can get a conventional plate or a plate with only raw food.
To my knowledge, it's the only restaurant of its kind focusing on proposing super foods every day.

The biggest tv channel in France was actually filming there about the super foods trend. (I may or may not be in their report...)

Pros: Focuses on super foods

Cons: Little choice

Wonderful experience(s)!

Loved everything about this place. The staff was warm, friendly and accommodating. We went for lunch on the first visit and had the assiette du jour. It was a hearty, filling, well balanced plate with a lovely variety of flavours. We came back for dinner and had the assiette du jour again, which was almost more than we could eat. If you are lucky, the staff will bring shots of juices for you to try. We had the good fortune of meeting Jean Francois, the founder of the company, while we were there. He was lovely and interesting and took the time to speak to us in his best English about the various superfoods, their origins, and their benefits. He invited us to visit him at the bio market which takes place on Saturdays. The whole experience was enjoyable, uplifting and educational.

Pros: Staff, amazing food, warm, inviting atmosphere.

Cons: None! It would appear that reservations are recom

Tasty Plate of the Day

We had the plate of the day, which consisted of a well-balanced mix of cereals, beans, and vegetables.
The plate was flavorful and the portions were correct.

As a dessert we tried the vegan cake which had lucuma and banana. It was tasty; however, (1) it was tiny; and (2) I didn't taste the lucuma at all.
Drinks were also good, albeit on the small side.

The menu is quite limited (it's either the plate of the day or the raw plate or a soup), but it's fresh.
The service is quick and friendly.

All-in-all, I'd recommend it for the plate.

Pros: tasty plate of the day, friendly service

Cons: limited choice, a bit overpriced

Thanks for dinner

This place really does not disappoint! Do yourself and perhaps your friend a favor and go get some plant-based and just pure good food at Sol Semilla. Much more cannot be said. This down to earth and nature filled place should be visited when in Paris, France.

Thank you,
JoJo

Big portions and great food

I really enjoy Sol Semilla when I'm in Paris and feeling hungry and want something interesting and hearty. My favorite two plates are the raw plate, which is a lot of vegetables and other raw foods; and the cooked plate which has fewer vegetables but more grains and cereals. An emphasis is put on unique and "super" foods which comes through in the many drinks and soups on offer. Some I've really enjoyed and some are just ok by my palate. Prices are reasonable considering the size of the plates. It's not the biggest place, so seating can be tight. I advise getting here close to opening times to secure a good table or seat.

Pros: Delicious, tasty fare, healthy , good vibe

Cons: Can be difficult to find seating

disappointing

Healthy doesn't have to mean tasteless, I was very disappointed by this place. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the waitress are nice but the food is really boring. Not much choice on the menu and 5euros for a small glass of juice is quite expensive.

Pros: service , ambiance

Cons: expensive , tasteless food

nice place

Nice place with original food coming mostly from South America. They sell superfoods also.
Good spot close to a canal.
Plates could be a little bit bigger.
