Good budjet choice - Edit
Very tasty vegetarian couscous, the portion is smaller than normally and it comes without olives / bread. The lemonade was not so good, too watery. Lovely 💙 setting and great female staff team!

Last supper in Chefchaouen with lots of options - Edit
There are so many things to love about this place. The homely, authentic exterior, away from the busy medina, sweet ladies, so many vegan options, huge portions. I'm glad I was deterred from having the vegan roll and couscous!

Tasty food and very kind people - Edit
We had the Couscous with 7 vegetables and the vegan tagine and the food was very good and tasty. The ladies that run the restaurant are very kind and nice. We liked also the location, calmer and more peaceful than in the main square.

Supporting the sisters - Edit
Lovely no-frills restaurant with plenty of vegan options. It is just off the main square inside the madina, meaning it is a lot quieter. I had the jaleo (caramelised pumpkins topped with nuts) and the za'alak (pureed aubergine), all washed down with homemade mint lemonade. They had run out of some dishes which I took as a good sign, as it means the food is freshly cooked. Definitely recommended.

Fair choice of food - Edit
There are several options foe food. I got a very small plate of pumpkins with nuts for 40 DH (4€) and for the quantità it seemed to me too little....

They serve baby goat - Edit
One of the highlights arriving to the blue city was the adorable baby goat running around with its adopted sheep mother. Upon looking at the top vegan restaurant options here I found this one. While there aren’t any fully vegan restaurants here this one particular serves goat kid. I don’t know how any vegan could eat here.

Best Couscous we ate in Morocco - Edit
The restaurant is located in the middle of Chefchaoen and easy to find. It's the only restaurant we went to in Morocco that knew what vegan meant. The food was delicious, especially the soup and the vegetarian couscous. The mint tea was great as well.

On the quieter street out off reach of touts is this nice little family own restaurant.
Read moreWaiter spoke good english and had a knowledge what vegans can n cannot eat. Vegan options were marked clearly on the menu.
Food was good traditional moroccan food. Price was also okay.
Pros: Good mint tea
Cons: No wc but public toilet is just around the corner

Amazing authentic food - Edit
Restaurant Sofia is hidden behind the main Street of the medina, definitely worth the visit. Food is absolutely delicious, authentic home style cooking. Had the 7 seasonal vegetable couscous topped with caramelised onions and sultanas also had the khobz (sandwich) with seasoned vege. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner!

Delicious Options and Lovely People! - Edit
My boyfriend and I came here both nights we were in Chefchaouen. We loved the lady who owns the place and who I think is her son? Lovely options for vegans and vegetarians including yummy cous cous, soups, sandwiches, and even some desert options! Definitely must come here for one meal while in town.

Nice place - Edit
The food is good, has a few vegan options and is one of the very few female run business in Chefchaouen. Sadly today a piece of chicken breast made it to our veggie sandwich😒- accidents happen but it wasn't a happy experience

Vegan roll - Edit
The nice lady there suggested a vegan roll which is not on the menu. It was awesome! It was like a giant baked spring roll with lots of veggie inside. The veggie tajine was good too...they put cauliflowers in it whereas most other non-veggie places just use standard carrots zucchinis peas and potatoes.

Nice family run place. I went twice and had a targine, lentil soup and tabouleh, all good. In reality many places serve these same dishes, but this place has them marked as vegan on the menu, so good to eat at a place that understands and caters to vegans.

Great food, lovely staff. - Edit
We enjoyed a lovely dinner here after arriving to Chefchaouen that same night. The owner, Franco, was very friendly and helpful. He understood veganism right away, which has not always been easy in Morocco, and had plenty of vegan-friendly options. I had a vegetable tajine, a moroccan salad, a vegetable cream soup and some great-tasting lentils. The setting is simple and laid back and the prices are fair. I would recommend coming here for a delicious but informal bite.
