Wouldnt return! - Edit
Wouldnt go back or recommend. The guy making our drinks name was Liam we asked him about drink recommendations and he just pointed to a page of the drink menu without suggesting a single drink he seems to be new at the job and requires more training it took around 45 minutes to get our bill settled while other girls were coming and going because they knew him they could get better service

Great vegan menu - Edit
Don’t judge a book by its cover; at first glance, I thought the restaurant looked dark and outdated. We still went in and received the friendliest and knowledgeable service possible. Our server was thoroughly knowledgeable about allergies which is always very helpful for my spouse who is Celiac. As for the food, everything was delicious and the portions more than generous. And what can I say about the price; where else can you find a 3 course fully vegan meal for $35.00. The only problem I had was making a choice among all the options. Definitely recommend Social 242 and looking forward to come back myself.

Lots of delicious vegan options! - Edit
They had an extensive vegan menu with plenty of vegan appetizers, mains, and even desserts which you don't see that often in an omni restaurant. I also loved how inventive the options were and that it wasn't just the standard Beyond burger or stirfry. I had the chick'n parm which was delicious but very filling, I could've easily split it with someone else.

Very good - Edit
We each had good old fashioned drink and tried the cauliflower wings to start out night. The wings were delicious! Crunchy batter with flavourful cauliflower inside. We'll definitely be back to try more options. The vegan menu looks amazing and well thought out.

Perhaps we hit an off night? - Edit
Folks rave about the vegan food here and perhaps we simply hit an off night. We’re diners who clean our plates, never so much as a single fry left uneaten! Such was not the case on the night we ate here. Like the review that follows below, we ordered Bruschetta as an appetizer, and the vegan Parmesan Caesar salad. Hats off to the owner for seeing a gap in the Kelowna food scene and offering a distinct vegan menu but the food appeared rushed and unappetizing. We did our best but neither of us finished our meals and agreed we’d wait a bit before coming back to eat.

Delish! - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu with appetizers, entrees, cocktails, and dessert. They have four vegan appetizers, four vegan entrees, five vegan cocktails, and two kinds of vegan dessert. I had the bruschetta, chicken parm, and vegan Caesar. All were amazing. Even my omni friends loved them. Highly recommend. They also have a nice patio, a great location, and friendly service.

AMAZING vegan fare - Edit
We were super impressed by the separate vegan menu, which has a substantial variety of choices, including appies, desserts and cocktails. I had the Beyond Burger and my partner had the Tofu Parmesan. Both were incredible. I wish we had room for dessert but we were both stuffed after our entrees!

Amazing Vegan Menu - Edit
I love that you can order the whole 3 course meal for 30$ which is very reasonable. The portions are large, I always take food home.
Read moreI also tried their new vegan tacos. OMG. Soooo good. My husband and son ordered non vegan tacos and they preferred the vegan tacos over the need tacos.
They have a whiskey sour using Chickpea juice instead of egg white. Very good.
Pros: They have a vegan only menu.

Amazing vegan menu! - Edit
So cool that a late-night lounge cares enough to offer a fully vegan menu! You can order the whole 3-course meal for 30$ which is super reasonable considering the huge amount of food you get. You will most likely have left-overs for later. You can also order the items individually. The bruschetta is mind-blowing, they use tofutti creamcheez, omg! My favourite main course is the Chickpea Meatloaf which is served with seasonal veg, mashed potatoes and gravy, so SO good.
Read moreIf you ask the bartender, they will make you a whiskey sour using Chickpea juice instead of egg white. Cold, frothy, delicious.
One of the few late-night vegan options in kelowna, get there!
*note: happy cow only allows you to give otherwise meat restaurants a 4 star, which is the only reason why my rating is a 4 not a 5. Yes, I hate meat but you can't hate on a full vegan menu!*

Separate Vegan Menu! - Edit
Social offers a vegan menu with 3 allies, 3 mains, and 2 desserts. Including Bruschetta, beet salad, vegan meatloaf, and stuffed bell pepper.
Read moreThe bruschetta is awesome! The have a pasta primavera that I love. The meat loaf is super interesting it's almost weird how meaty it looks, but the flavors are great and you get a big plate of hearty food including mashed potatoes.
I don't understand how someone could give them a 1 star review after saying the food is good. For kelowna, a place just offering a vegan menu is a big step in the right direction and other then the other obvious full vegan restaurant, there really isn't anywhere that offers too much more than this. The food is on the more expensive side but it is on par with everything else at the restaurant. They also do a 3 course meal deal featuring the vegan items.
Pros: Vegan menu, Good brushchetta, 3 course meal deal
Cons: More expensive than others, Not fully vegan

Really cool this place offers a vegan menu! The mains and appies are good quality foods! However, my only bum out is the extreme prices..

Good place to take a date for sure. Your paying for the environment!
Pros: Vegan menu, Healthy foods nothing seemed to be processed , Creative mains
