A portal to the 90s

Friendly staff, happy to accommodate and vegan-ize their food. They made me a (non-menu) bagel sandwich with vegan sausage, avocado, tomato, and roasted peppers. It was delicious! Good coffee, too. Fun late 90s coffee shop vibes.

Hotspot

Was looking to try the hot chocolate with hemp milk. Long line and no time. Good for business to see the influx of folks getting their cup of Joe on. The pastry case and coffee board, no mention of plant, if much and I did not feel like having that kind of conversation early on. U know, the details ensuring, plant based, organic, non GMO, is the chocolate powder, etc and ingredients. Call for clarity on desirables. A mom and pop feel, book corner and other delights.

So Hip Coffee Shop

Great spot for a good coffee and some vegan breakfast options. I didn’t ask if any of their bakery items were vegan. They have a breakfast burrito with hash browns, veggie sausage and veggies that can be made vegan. We added avocado and salsa as they were out of the mushrooms and zucchini. Also offer a nice avocado toast that hit the spot after 3 nights of camping. Was able to get on the WiFi to get some work done and hang out in this hip, but non pretentious atmosphere.

Pros: Avocado Toast , Kurt Vonnegut aficionados , Breakfast burrito

Cons: Out of mushrooms , More vegan options for bakery etc.
