Restaurant and camp gear shop

They only had one vegan option, which was the chickpea curry with a salad. It was tasty and was of a good size. The staff were pretty friendly and helpful. A good vegan option in Kumamoto if you're by the Kumamoto Station.

Pros: Tasty food , Good service , Inexpensive

Happy find

It’s extremely challenging to find Vegan and gf in Japan. This is close to Kumamoto station. 3rd floor inside AMU building. I ordered this to go.
Tasty rice and curry with small salad.

Pros: Owner understood meaning of vegan, Clean food, Delicious

A vegan lunch option at Kumamoto Station

I'm not sure if they offer anything vegan beyond the "vegan-free" curry advertised outside their store, however I was happy to find a plant-based lunch option. It's a bit pricey but the ingredients tasted like quality produce. The place is located on the third floor of the building to your left when facing the east entrance of Kumamoto Station. It's immediately to your right when exciting the escalator.
