Fast service, cheap vegan junk food and service with a smile. Came to Adelaide for a little trip and was delighted to find this place, it's not often you find a vegan place in the middle of a mall. Giving Lord of the Fries a run for their money, impressive!

Perfect location in the food court at the mall! The have lots of options including flatbreads, burgers and nuggets! The food came out really quickly and was so good!! Nice to see some less common options on the menu too.

Rare to find an all vegan place. It is more fast food, but I loved it. I would have totally come back for dinner, but unfortunately they are already closed for today. They are more a place for lunch. Would recommend!

Yes, there is a lot of fried goodness here (though also some things with green in them too) but it’s vegan comfort food which always has its place. Friendly owner/staff and pretty much what you’d expect. I had the “lamb” yiros pack. I wasn’t “wowed” but it was a satisfying indulgence.

Today I was starving and Smiley Vegan came to my rescue. It was my first time there, definitely won’t be my last time. I can’t wait to take my partner there for some burgers or something else from the menu. Great serving sizes and such friendly service…with a smile and laughs!

A great vegan fast food option in the centre of Adelaide, located in the David Jones food court. Lots of burgers and kebabs/yiros options, including a fillet 'no' fish burger which is really tasty, though it does come with vegan cheese which I thought was a bit of a weird combo, but that might just be me and you can always ask for it without! They have great combo meals where you can add chips and drinks etc. Today I tried the VG Sumac Chicken Manakeesh which they also have available with different vegan "meat" options. It's like a pita bread/toastie type meal and I really enjoyed it. Probably one of the lighter fast food options compared to the burgers . Having said that I feel like even their burgers leave you feeling a lot lighter than for instance than a Lord of the Fries burger, so while it's not something I want to eat every day in my lunch break, I'm definitely keen to add a visit to Smiley Vegan to my work lunch rotation schedule. Love that my local food court has an offering with the word "vegan" in the name of the business. Staff are super friendly . I'd recommend showing them some love.

Best vegan burger EVER! - Edit
We got the VG chicken zinger box and the chicken burger was definitely the best burger I have ate. We also got fries loads with sauce and vegan chicken and lamb. Everything was 100/10. Couldn’t recommend more!

Read moreI had a ‘chicken’ Horoscope and it was quite tasty. I also tried some wings, the darker colour ones are tastier. This kind of food is comfort food, and not what I’d eat regularly, but it’s very enjoyable!
