Loved it there! - Edit
I visited Slow Foodiez with my Mum and we both really enjoyed our stay here. I had bounty granola, which was super delicious, but not thaaat big / filling, so I was glad we also ordered a green smoothie bowl to share. It was super-creamy and fresh! My Mum had a vegan omelette which was hearty and satisfying. Also the Cherry-Smoothie and coffee were good. The ambience is lovely and staff was welcoming and friendly! Great experience!

wholesome tasty vegan food! - Edit
We are so glad to have found this place from the Happy Cow app.
Read moreThe hummus and tortilla starter was so tasty, the balance of flavour was really good.
I absolutely would recommend the tomato and zucchini ravioli pasta, it was bursting full of flavour and slimply delicious. You need to make sure you try one of their desserts too. The blueberry cheesecake was so light, but so creamy.
The staff were amazing, very helpful and accommodating. We will be going back again for sure.
You do not need to be vegan to appreciate the good food in this place.
Pros: A wide selection of vegan options

Great food - Edit
Food was great. They had a lot typical Hungarian dishes, veganised ofcourse. Unfortunately the staff was not very friendly. They looked tired. I'm assuming they were hoping on closing earlier that evening.

It is a very nice locations with only a few but good food options. Prices are more pricey than in other places (compared to the amount of food you get).

Cute and exciting - Edit
I am happy we found this place, they offer lots of options and everything is really tasty. The eringi mushroom is a very rare ingredient (at least in Hungary) that I could try here first luckily, because I can’t stop thinking about it since :-)

delicious, delicious and sweet - Edit
A really cute little vegan place they have going here. It looks like a sweet little cafe that will just serve your standard cafe choices but do not be fooled!!!! The food here is seriously good and more what I would have expected from an upscale restaurant. We had cauliflower and noodle soup, butternut and sage mushroom pasta and some matcha cake and all of them were totally delicious. Subtle, complicated flavors, delicious and creamy, it was all so much more than I expected. Brilliant!

Cozy place, good food - Edit
Ate here twice, was satisfied after both visits.
Read moreHad an omelette, raw tapas plate, and various desserts. Food was well made, and the staff made sure to accommodate our allergies/food intolerances.
The desserts were really interesting, especially the raw pancake.
Plenty of tables both upstairs and downstairs, good atmosphere.
I was really happy with eating here.

Amazing scrambled tofu with sausage - Edit
We came here for brunch and were a bit sceptical as we're not huge fans of raw food. One of the dishes we asked for was the "Hungarian Brunch Plenty Plate" without having any idea what would be on it. The result was a place with scrambled tofu, sausage, a piece of bread and some lettuce and tomato. Everything tasted very nice together though I'm pretty sure the bread, sausage and tofu are not raw. Especially the tofu and sausage had an amazing smoky flavor that I hadn't tasted before in vegan food and I've made plenty of vegan smoky sausages and scrambled tofu myself.
Read moreAnother dish was raw sushi, which was actually raw as it didn't have rice but was also very nice. So overall a really great place to go. However since this place is not located in a main tourist or shopping hub I think prices are slightly to high.
Pros: great food, friendly interior, friendly staff
Cons: prices slightly high

really happy experience - Edit
Sweet and calm environment, food is amazing. Since it was opened, it would be the perfect spot for a fellow vegan activist such as myself; but originally this place was vegetarian. Guess what happened:
Read moreThe place just turned vegan to my total satisfaction.
The Slow Foodiez has many kind of tables, enough place to feed around 10 people around a huge table, or there are smaller table for couples and upstairs has this safe feeling to it. and tables for for or more as well and so as for couples.
Located perfectly in the middle of town yet out side of the direct flow. The service is fantastic, and waitresses are kind and caring. One feels how important is for them to be a costumer there.
Raw cakes and warm rich, nourishing soups and main courses changes from time to time, but they have it long enough to want to o back make your habit to eat the same again.
I am so happy that finally this place felt to change to an ethical approach to feed the costumers and doing it on the level everyone would be amazed and content even if the one does not have any commitments towards other earthlings like vegans do.
Do not miss it to go a full range of the experience in Budapest foodie experience. Even the street will give you an extra glimpse beyond the normal tourist experience.
Pros: tasty, calm, nice
Cons: stairs to the restroom, need to move closer :D, should be open for longer

Nice food - Edit
The food itself is tasty and nicely presented. There were only refridgerated desserts, the ones on the menu were apparently not available on a Sunday when we went. The waitress made a mistake with our order and was very condescending when asked to correct it (we even suggested eating what was brought out so as not to complicate anything but she just took the plate from me) Had to eat our food with quite a bit of delay, not ideal for a romantic meal.

We went here yesterday for lunch and were disappointed. The waitress was very unfriendly and made us feel like a burden, and the food was just ok but pricier than other places we went to in Budapest.

Good for breakfast and lunch - Edit
Really lovely place to enjoy some breakfast or lunch. They have a lot of vegan and raw options. I had some breakfast here included a green detox smoothie and raw granola with almond milk. Their raw cakes is delicious too. A bit of small portions, so if you're hungry, make sure to order 2-3 different dishes.

Fantastic vegan breakfast - Edit
We both had the banana and peanut butter topped porridge which was excellent and plenty. However, the other items on the menu (vegan omelette, granola, vegan 'continental' breakfast,...) sounded too great NOT to try so I had the vegan Omelette which was a delicious orientally-spiced pancake stuffed with sautéed veggies and smoked tofu and a green dip alongside. Cappuccino is served with either oat or almond milk and also delicious! If we had had more time in BP we would have come again for lunch!

Great All You Can Eat Brunch - Edit
We went to their All You Can Eat Vegan Bruch, an event they organise regularly (with no exact rule as to hiw often actually), and it was great!!! You get one green smoothie as gratis, and then you can stuff your vegan/vegetarian(there was only one option that contained milk, everything else was vegan) face with great stuff, my favourite was the French toast, really yummy, then you can get omelet with veggies in it, I liked it though to be honest it did not even resembled the taste of the real stuff, but still it was very tasty, also, you can have a granola with yoghurt from the fridge, maybe as a dessert ?? we filled our tummies very well and still felt light and energised, you should really try this place, the design is pretty, the waitresses are really friendly and helpful and it is just in the centre so you are off to a good start for the day!
